Manchester United v Bolton

Owen headed the ball across the 6 yard box line after a dinked cross from ever, and some Bolton numpty managed to somehow deflect it into his own net.

What was Owen's goal like?

It was Zat Knights, an own goal

If I remember it correctly, it went something like this

Evra throws to Giggs and makes run, Giggs plays Evra in along the goalline, he crosses, Owen's header is probably a shot attempt, but flicks it on straight into Knight and it slices into goal

1522: The balloon that 'scored' Sunderland's goal actually came from the Liverpool fans behind Pepe Reina's goal - I guess I should change my description to balloon og - but should it have stood?

It's part of the field just like the ref. Riena could've stomped on it.

Giggs is just insane.

What a player. Truely a joy to watch him atm.

Arsenal are such a strange team; they get beaten by teams they shouldn't get beaten by far too much, but when they do click they tend to absolutely batter whoever they're playing. Already 2-0, and it's almost certainly going to be a lot, lot worse than that.

Am I only person who reckons Taylor would be useful at a better side than Bolton?

This is one of those halves of football where you worry if one goal is enough, especially as Bolton had another good opportunity there.

We definitely need a second, to give us some breathing space, as Kevin Davies will always be a threat to any team
