Manchester United V Charlton

Mediocre display. A game after international break is often sub-par, but I think we also saw how important Ronaldo, and especially Carrick, are for us now.
We'll need them playing in every game from now on or this team will win precisely nothing this season.
 
not a very good second half performance. Agree that the points matter more than performance at this stage, but it just worries me ahead of the next game, I'm sure they'll play better next time, they'll have to. 9 wins required! They will probably need 7-8 wins because I can see Chelsea going on a good run, just hope we match that run.
 
I think Carrick wasn't as missed as Ronaldo. We just had nobody taking on the fullbacks enough. Only Giggsy in the first-half. Park played well, but did not attack the fullback at all. Saha was a little disappointing but cannot expect too much as he's just got back from injury.

isnt it ironic? The two replacement both scored! It goes to show how good we are at the moment. Not playing the best, still getting an important result.
 
yes very impressed with charlton in the second half. They do pass the ball around well.
 
great result - 2-0 maybe they couldve nicked one but nonetheless it was a decent performance :D
 
I was not satisfied with the performance but I'm also glad that we won it in the end with 2-0 because this way we showed that we are capable of winning even when we are underperforming
