carrick is good for us in the prem but his real duties will be in europe and against top english sides...where the game is a bit slower and more about creating than all out of attack...

We started well, and generally our use of the ball has been very good.
Bit concerned about how much they are having around our box even if it is 4-1. Just need to keep concentration at the back and we should be fine.
Dissapointed we dropped off but to be honest the crowd has been a bit shit so it's not suprising...

dare I say it, with our need to sign a defensive midfielder and Hargeaves seeming unlikely, I reckon Papa Bouba Diop would be worth a shout, he's looked pretty decent today and we could probaly get him for under 10mil

20 mins into the game at 4 -0 I was literally creaming myself. What pace, what tempo, what passing and what finishing particularly from Ronaldo. If thats any indication of the way we are going to play this season, then bring on the fecking rentboys
