I still cannot believe this United team bossed Inter away from home! Shocking performance from them tonight - i am not a Scholes basher but his sloppy passing has almost caught us out, pull it together lad! HT has come at a really good time because Inter were getting more and more into the game, we attack and it never looks like anything will come from it - Oshea had a glorious chance to kill the game but he decides to take it on instead of rolling it to Berba.

Fergie will sort it out he just has too!
 
feck me i'm well nervous!!! I think there's too much space in midfield for the Inter players. Either one of park or fletcher needs to come on.

Utter rubbish.

We were 100 times worse against Zenit, and Liverpool.

We've been decent today.
 
Giggs isn't playing to bad, Rooney's first touch has been dissapointing, scholes/carrick haven't been on the ball.
We'll sort this no worries
 
i think we gave inter all of their chances. if we get our passing sorted we will get a second and kill this off. if we continue to give them the ball that close to our goal someone is going to score for them.

I think against Liverpool and Derby could give that a run for it's money. Started great, got ourselves in front. Since then we've let them back into the game through sloppy play and silly passes. We're lucky we're still a goal ahead because we could easily be behind right now. SAF needs to get the hairdryer on turbo power, give them a boot on the asses back out onto the pitch. Come on lads, step it up feck sake :devil:

Giggs has been our best attacking player, with that run in behind Maicon, the pass through to Rooney and errr...the assist, which was a great cross.

He's a spaz to be fair. We just need to show more urgency. We're too relaxed.

The latter, definitely. Once the fancy flick backpasses came out, you know intensity has dropped off.

We looked out of ideas and didn't really know what to do after 20 minutes. Whether to hold on for the 1-0 or go on and try and get a 2nd. I'm surprised by Scholes tonight, he looks really nervous. I'd even consider taking him off because he's dropped us in it a number of times that 1st half.
 
Some people are calling it the worst performance of the season?! We should be 3-0 up in all honesty, should have had a penalty and O'Shea should have tucked away his chance.
 
Inter have Scholes and Carrick pushed right back. We have a lot of the ball in our own third but we can't get it forward quickly enough. Carrick needs to wake up a bit.
 
we looked supremely comfortable before and after the goal. it was only when we basically gave them the ball that they got thier confidence back. We still have exposed thier back 4 numerous times but we need to get the final pass on target and finish it.

Maybe lucky to be up still but sometimes you need the luck

Im sure RAWK is saying we suck and should be down but we arent and we will see this through

no momentum what so ever... it seems as if the goal has taken the sting off our play, we need to keep the ball a bit more and try to play with a bit more pace.... i think scholes should be taken off ... giggs should be put in the middle ... with park on for scholes... would make things much better i think
 
We haven't been that bad ffs. Just a few clueless attacks and sloppy passes here and there.
 
Why the feck do we play with such a slow tempo,not only are we excellent playing fast but inter would find struggle to get in on the game if it were faster.

Oh I know, he was complaining in the matchday thread all day long during the Carling Cup final, saying how we've been so shit, and then was the first person to come on here and celebrate about how great a team we are. He apologised for being fickle later on, but then here he is right back at it again...

I think we just need to get Rooney out on that wing, control the midfield. Scholes and Carrick will pick it up, we know they will.
 
Why the feck are people getting on Scholes's case. Worst passer my arse, most of what he has struck short and long has found it's target(unlike Carrick) and he was class first 20 minutes. Sky showed he had 88% pass completion. Seems those two loose passes to Carrick has stuck in too many peoples minds.

Since then Inter have come back into the game and making chances but we have not been as bad as the reactions on the MD thread. Defence had a slack last 15 minutes and Inter started to play well as Maicon started to make inroads down the right and Balotelli has the beating of JOS. SAF needs to fix those in the second half.
