the timing is just so wrong 4 days before our biggest game of the season, its crazy......
it was fergies idea, as a distraction to break the week up so everythings not so focused on saturday.

A shame Becks, Butt and Philip Neville made it to 400, for statistical niceness. Its crazy to think Giggs will surpass 900 next year
Remember back to Moscow when every body was speculating if he'd even beat Sir Bobby's record, which he has now smashed. 900 games for Manchester United in a period when they were the best club in that land on one of the top 4 teams in the world. Its just an astonishing feat and will never ever be repeated again.
In comparative terms vs other sports, Id say that Giggs is a grater sportsman than Tendulkar, Federer or Tiger Woods.

I do think its great that they're bringing a strong squad (rather than current reserves), but I just hoped for some of the lads from the 90's/early 00's, I suppose.
