Manchester United v Liverpool

:( The Liverpool team is the strongest I have seen this season. Lucas-Meireles-Gerrard and a much improved back four, this will be a very tough match.

What are you sad about.Aren't you hoping that we lose today.

Premier leagues different now to when kenny was at pool and 'burn. Dont think because hes won 4 league titles, hes should be feared. He's going to have to adapt and change himself along with the liverpool team to start getting results i reckon...

You'd swear dalglish has been in solitary confinement with no telly for the last 20 years. Dont be surprised if Liverpool are set up differently and play with some freedom today. Expect Torres and gerrard to combine again. This will be a tough game

It's Skrtel and Daniel Agger, not Tony Adams and Martin Keown, you big girl's blouse. And Lucas, Meireles and Gerrard have played together plenty of times this season, and you know where they are in the league? 12th.

Jesus Christ.

I don't think so mate. I think Kelly is much better defensively than Johnson whereas Agger and Aurelio is an improvement over Konchesky and Carrager.
While Kelly might be an upgrade on Johnson defensively, he has no experience in games like these. Aurelio is a shadow of the player he once was (but please dear god don't let us give away stupid freekicks at the edge of our box) and Agger while being a capable defender has been ruined by injuries.
It's a question how good Lucas/Meireles can provide cover for their back four, otherwise we'll expose them with ease. Not sure why I'm so confident though, on the other hand I'm bricking it...

Still their best side but still crap..

With Meireles out wide right. And also no N'Gog, Poulsen, Konchesky, Babel, Jovanovic today.

It is Liverpool's strongest side except from maybe Johnson who is not that great anyway.

I'm actually glad Evans is playing today. He's a cracking young defender who's gone through a bad patch this season.

If he can produce a good performance today- and I think he can- then it'll do wonders for his confidence.

It is an excellent side.
If that's an 'excellent' side, what's our side then, the second coming of Christ? There is a reason they are 12th in the league, it's because they lack quality. Hardly much to do with today though the cnuts will be well up for it and turn shite again on the weekend.

It is because they have never played this side for alot of those matches.
They beat Chelsea with this midfield trio of Lucas, Meireles and Gerrard which is a fantastic midfield. They have Reina and Torres playing too. And there are no dummies such as N'Gog, Jovanovic, Poulsen, Konchesky.

Look at the specific team, and do not assume they are in 12th in the league with this team they are playing today.

Ah well whatever happens I just hope it's a good game. The atmosphere should be feckin brilliant - 4 mins till build-up on ITV.

Good Luck boys - let's turn the cnuts over!
