Manchester United V Manchester City

I'm nervous about this match, they would love to put a dent in our run and it would make their season to get a draw.

PLEASe i dont care, as long as we win, this match is so huge.

win this and we go into the chrismas period in great shape, and we'd have 8 days rest till our trip to West Ham.

The line-up should be obvious, although Fergie could play Heinze instead of Evra. Hopefully we win and Arse get at least one point against Chelsea
 
I think this could be quite a tight game, Citys defence has been playing pretty well so far this season, Dunne and Richards are having a pretty good run of form. I know that ours is even better, and so is our attacking. I'm pretty sure we'll win this 2-1 Rooney & Saha - Barton
 
I seem to know a lot Siddy fans these days. I thought I'd post their recent remarks :-

On the Watford 0-0 game:
Fan1: He went, then stayed up see England choke in the Ashes. The poor man was suicidal when I saw him the morning after.
Fan2: Dour game and annoyed at his teams lack of quality beyond the back line.
Fan3: Thought Watford deserved great credit, and reckoned they attacked more than a few teams who've been to COMS recently. Reckons any City team with Vassel is like only fielding 10 men :D He reckons Watford out-muscled them all over the pitch (interestingly)

On the Derby:
Fan1: Quietly confident. Thinks his boys will raise their game and frustrate us with their tight defence. He just laughed when I mentioned Ben Thatcher having the job of stopping Ronaldo. "Its a no contest" he added.
Fan2: No comment
Fan3: Ranted on about their record at OT in recent years. Didnt sound confident though
Fan4: Keeping quiet and just hoping for a miracle.

In recent seasons it hasnt been Siddy upping their game imo, its been more a case of us lowering ours for some reason! I dont think the current mood in the camp will allow that this year and I'm hoping for a clinical 3-0 :D

Stuart Pearce has praised Sir Alex Ferguson for leading Manchester United back to the top of the Premiership.

Ahead of Manchester City's trip to Old Trafford on Saturday, Pearce has been impressed with how Ferguson is moulding a new United team.

With United top of the table by six points, Pearce feels his Red Devils counterpart should be commended for confounding the critics again.

Pearce said on Sky Sports News: "For the manager to rekindle the side once again after he's been there 20 years now…

"Every time you think it's time for Sir Alex to go, or it's mooted that he'll go, he turns around, comes out fighting and puts another team at the top of the Premiership.

"You've just got to admire that sort of management.

"He's got a great side, with people fighting for a place in the team and they are top of the Premiership by six points at the moment.

"That just about says it all about him."

The City boss also feels the current leaders are playing the most attractive football in the top flight, ahead of the derby, live on PremPlus.

He added: "At the start of the season I would have said Arsenal were the best passing side in the country.

"But at this moment now, United are the best passing side in the country in my opinion."

Wonder how many times the genius Giggs will skin the youngster Richards. Perhaps Ronaldo will overlap on the left sometimes and torture the youngster.

Probably Heinze if BBC is correct.

-Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra is a major doubt after picking up a calf injury.

Evra was only able to do some light jogging on Friday and will be replaced by Gabriel Heinze if not fit.-

Is the Kippax stand a housing estate now? Anyway I digress I've always thought the colour sky blue to be rather weak and putrid rather sums up the bitters as far as I'm concerned.

But Kippax to a Manc this is the most important games of the seasoin us against you and I agree non Mancs really dont appreciate that fact as they've never lived in Gods city. I nsupposr you's appreciate that especially if you really do come from Stockport :lol:

Never mind Kippax - but as Mancs this is the most important game - we shut the door on everything outside the gates of the greatest city on earth and let battle commence - feck the scousers - we Mancs are human beings (if you detect an ever so slight grudging respect for you lot then your right - me best mate is a city fan - but all my family are red - I would have drowned my kids if they'd been anything but United - but you wouldn't have it any other way either Kippax - would you).
