Manchester United v Manchester City

#MCFC team to play #MUFC: Hart; Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Zabaleta; Milner, Barry; Silva, Y Toure, Kolarov; Tevez

I think the team looks fairly well balanced and will probably turn the screws on City and win it 2-0

Big game for Smalling, hope he copes with the pressure.

I think Scholes will have a blinder! Not to mention Giggsy

Lone striker was to be expected to be honest, shame for Berba though. I'm more surprised at the lack of Rafael or Carrick.

Ben Hibbs says "No Rafael is a loss" ... probably misses out on the bench.

Injured?

shizzle

Berba was my fantasy team captain as well, I thought it was a good decision to make him skipper as he's home record has been pretty good!

After that performance vs Wolves Rooney does deserve a start ahead of Berba

He better be on form today!

Berbatov should've been in the starting line up in my opinion. He holds up the ball better and with the goal touch lacking from Rooney, I don't think thats the best option.

He's a confidence player, our berba. Hmmm.. Interesting.

feck off.

So Rafael, Carrick and Berbatov get dropped having had good seasons. Whilst Fletcher and Rooney play having been shit. Terrific.

Berba dropped to the bench for this one.

Surely out of Rooney and Berbatov, you'd choose Berba to start.

Seriously hope Rooney pulls his finger out.

Berbatov doesn't do very well up top solo. Not a surprise to see Rooney.

Ben Hibbs says "No Rafael is a loss" ... probably misses out on the bench.

Injured?

No, he's on the bench. I reckon SAF wants a burly right back in Sheasy.

despite the changes it's easier to notice the weaknesses in citys lineup

No doubt someone will soon come up with the "O'Shea is better than Rafael defensively" stuff but with 4-5-1 I'd like our defender to be able to attack as well as defend. Besides, Rafael does the defending too.

You're in as good a mood as ever I see.

Didn't you spend 2 weeks arguing you didn't want to see Berbatov move to United at the time of his transfer?

The manager has picked the players he trusts most - Scholes, Giggs, Rooney, Fletcher.

So with Rio out we decide to also not play Carrick, even though the early part of the seaason showed how much we missed them both, and how much we improved once they were in the team.

I'm turning into Noodle.

No Carrick?

What the feck?

This.
Would have liked him to start ahead of Fletch.
OShea gives us hight, that's the positive about him starting ahead of Rafael. Hopefully he won't be too dodgy today.

Rooney needs to fecking perform.

Strongest bench i've seen all season.

Really? Having 3 strikers on there is pointless considering if one of our wide players get injured our entire game plan is fecked.

Are City going with 3 central defenders and two wingbacks? Or has Kolarov been playing winger recently?

Wanted Berba to start, hope Rooney has a good game
