Manchester United v Manchester City

:D

Pissed off that Hernandez won't return to Manchester until approx. 10am on Friday.

It's not too much of an issue. He was only ever likely to feature from the bench if at all.

I think we are going to trash them. Come on, United.

I hate posts like this!!!!

Sorry! I really admire people's confidence, especially on the Internet but I never ever go in to the games with our rivals with any ounce of confidence as there is never, ever any way to predict what will happen.

I am so thankful that I am out of the country until the morning of the game and can therefore mss a lot of the build up, which ultimately makes me very, very nervous

I'm not a United player and not married to them, so in the great scheme of things it won't matter whether I have faith or not - if we lose, we'll lose and if we win, we'll win, my posts won't change anything. :D

S'pose!! Just can;t bring myself to be that confident. For some reason, it makes the victories that little bit sweeter to me but on the flip side, makes the defeats more bitter.

Hopefully Fergie sets us up to get some goals but not to conceed them at the other end.

I know where you're coming from, but we do have every reason to be confident. In terms of home games, not only this season but for donkey's years, our record has on the whole been excellent. Yes we could lose (Liverpool in 2009 as an example), but we are far more likely to win.

Doesn't mean I don't feel exactly the same as you mind... :)

Line ups?

Ben Hibbs: van der Sar; Rafael, Smalling, Vidic, Evra; Nani, Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson, Giggs; Rooney

Me: VDS, Rafael, Smalling, Vidic, Evra; Nani, Scholes, Carrick, Ando, Park: Berbatov

(with Rooney, Owen, Giggs, Fletcher, Evans, Brown, Kuszczak on the bench).

Nothing like a fired up Rooney coming off the bench to save the day.

It will be interesting to see how Mancini approaches this match, this is City's chance to close the gap instead of hoping someone does it for them.

I will not be happy with a draw,we are at home for feck sakes, we should go all out for win......

I have a very sneaky feeling that Sir Alex will leave Rooney on the bench for this. It could be Berbatov alone upfront with Nani and Giggs roaming around him. Carrick, Fletch and Scholes in a midfield 3

If we do that i'd like Anderson to play.

:nono::nono: It's so much sweeter if our veteran players à la Giggs and Scholes are to score 2-0 without resorting to the bench! And no goal from the traitor please.

have a feeling that Rooney will start in 451, however if Fergie decides to go 451 and leave Rooney on bench that is a big statement. We might play both to keep them happy
