Manchester United v Manchester City

And then: "I don't care about stats!" Amazing.

Bloody hell, he is extremely bitter. Yes they created some good chances but the fact he's claiming that we desperately needed a spectacular goal to win when their goal was a spectacular fluke is beyond ridiculous. Scoring goals is what wins football games and intimidates opponents, not making chances and not taking them.

Simple as that.

Great win, I thought in the first half Rooney was left too isolated a lot of the time as Anderson wasn't getting close enough, but the goal was sheer class, the deft pass from Giggs and the touch and finish from Nani were world class....didn't think we'd see a better goal today.

Credit to City as they came to play today and Silva caused us problems, but Rooney's stunning winner is one for the classic highlight reels!

I loved that . Not as impressed by Owen's lukewarm handclapping though!

Don't read too much into a brief glimpse, Erica.

Michael isn't daft - he wants a Premier League medal.
