Or utterly frustrating to watch and the team is disjointed and not as effective as it should be.
At least four goals? One each eh?
What the bloody hell is going on here, we're not living in Tron, this isn't being played out on a PC.
Lets smash Sunderland for 10, lets do it for Keano
I think Sunderland have the pace to cause our back four some problems. Neville and O'Shea should be rested for this one..
I also think the same. Richardson, Cisse, Diouf, Malbranque, Jones.
We have to attack but can't be weak on midfield.
Andy@Allerton, that bitter little psychopath on RAWK, expects us to win 13-0.

He'll probably be well chuffed if we just win by a couple of goals, which is a more realistic scoreline.

Just noticed the current record is 9-0 by the Mancs v Ipswich in 1995
This result will dwarf that

I can honestly see the highest ever defeat ever for a football team in the 'Premier' League occurring today.
Sunderand were always going to lose and lose badly today. It's no co-incidence that Keane delayed his departure until a few days before the Manc matches and the horrendous defeat they will suffer will cement their relegation from the Premier League. they will never claw back the goal difference they are going to end up with after the game on Saturday. It will be a train-crash of a game - expect 2 or 3 Sunderland players that care get sent off - the Mancs will come out of it with an unassailable goal difference - it will be grim reading this weekend.
I wonder how much you will get odds on for the Mancs winning by a margin of more than 10?
United have no fresh injury concerns ahead of Sunderland's visit to Old Trafford on Saturday, although Paul Scholes is likely to be rested after returning to action on Wednesday night.
Scholes, who was sidelined with a knee injury for seven weeks, came on as a 66th-minute substitute against Blackburn Rovers in the Carling Cup. But despite his return to the field, Sir Alex told the media on Friday morning that the 34-year-old is unlikely to be involved against Sunderland.
"Scholesy came through his half-hour against Blackburn but I don't think we'll involve him on Saturday," said the boss.
"He'll certainly get some football in Japan [for the FIFA Club World Cup]. That's maybe the best route for him."
Meanwhile, the manager says he expects Darren Fletcher to be okay, despite feeling his hamstring during the Manchester derby last Sunday.

I think we should use the Aalborg game to give the fringers (Anderson, Nani, Tevez, etc) a run-out, and stick with the team that beat City for this one.

I like the cut of this man's jib.
I like that expression but have no idea how it originated.
Let's not forget the 2005/2006 season, when Sunderland got relegated with a new record low points tally. But despite their wretched state and impending return to the Championship they still came to OT and held us to a very frustrating goalless draw.
Now i'm not saying that we don't have it in us to make it an extremely depressing day for them on the pitch, however this is reliant on a good few factors. e.g. our Starting XI and mentality [better Tevez if we want to apply pressure from the off], theirs, the timing of any breakthrough, how hungry we are to put them to the sword, subs e.t.c.
If we ourselves but inot the hype too much and spend much of the first half passing it about in front of two banks of four creating pretty patterns, damn complacency. It could be low scoring indeed.
Hey i'd love for us to wipe the floor with them, the goal difference could sure use it, though hopes are not set in stone expectations.

Sunderland aren't that bad. I mean, they have Danny Collins, Nyron Nosworthy, Grant Leadbitter, Liam Miller...
So do I.I hate late kickoffs.
