Could we not play Rooney wide against brum and start with berb and chicarito up front
 
The only thing about the Birmingham game is perhaps not playing for so long they might be a bit rusty. Can't really see it though. Would be very surprised and happy if we pick up 6 points in our next two games.

We need to pray that this is just a knock for Nani and that Valencia miraculously comes back in January like has been speculated.
 
Looking forward to Giggs and Evra raping El Mohamady, and Berbatov and Rooney will be a real test for their defence - Ferdinand and Onouha have looked uncomfortable before with strikers dropping off them.

I honestly don't think Valencia will be ready until at least February, but I really hope I'm wrong with that one. Then of course, he'll take time to get back into the groove of it all and get match fit again. Park could potentially miss 7 games, depending how his country do in the Asia Cup.

We know nothing of Nani's injury he seems to have picked up, hopefully we'll find out more today. Giggs only back from injury and can't play every match, so that means we're left with Obertan and Bebe.

This is going to be a very attacking game I feel. With Sunderland missing so many defenders, they might need to attack and focus on Gyan and Bent getting something.
 
can we hit top gear, I don't want the game against blackburn to be just a one-off.

Ridiculous fixtures these days. If so many games are called off, just make a 2 weeks layoff ffs.

If Rooney is on the left, then Chicharito will play up front with Berba.
