Looking forward to this, always a special atmosphere in the F.A. Cup.

Hard to predict a line-up though, considering that we're playing three matches in space of a week.

Isn't Rio supposed to be back for this one as well?

This is the team I'd like to see:

---------Vds----------
Neville-Vidic-Rio-O'Shea
Nani-Scholes-Carrick-Park
------Welbeck/Giggs-----
------Berbatov/Tevez---

Let's hope Bent is playing.

Team should be...

GK: PIG

RB: Neville
CB: Vidic
CB: Evans
LB: O'Shea

RM: Ronaldo
CM: Carrick
CM: Scholes
LM: Park

CF: Tevez
CF: Berbatov

Subs: VDS, Chester, Fletcher, Giggs, Gibson, Tosic, Welbeck

Squad is looking a little thing past the first 11 isn't it :nervous:
I cant see past us winning this game to be honest, I'll go 1-0 again, Berba again

Have we got any players left?

Makes you wonder eh?

Don't really wanna take a shot at predicting the XI, but what the hell

Van Der Sar

Neville
Vidic
Evans
O'Shea

Ronaldo
Carrick
Scholes
Park(?)

Berbatov
Tevez

Dont be 100% shocked if we dwell into a 4-5-1 ----> 4-3-3 in the wake of these knocks.

So many injuries, let's just hope the ones we picked up tonight aren't serious.

Spurs always give us a tough game, and with Redknapp now at the helm I would expect this to be no different. They have generally done well against the bigger sides this season so it's by no means an easy game.

I'm not sure what Sir Alex will do here. Any other season I would have thought he would have fielded pretty much a full strength side with a few youngsters, but with the fixture list we have and the amount of injuries I think we will see a similar side that played tonight.

I'd like to see Tosic play though, looking forward to seeing him as the few clips I've seen of him (Thanks YouTube) he looks very good. But then YouTube clips aren't really a way to judge a player, so I'll refrain from calling him Pele Mk. II.

Close game, we need to avoid a replay, so I'll go for a 2-1 win.

I'm going to this one, can't wait :D

With the injuries tonight, hopefully it won't be too worrying. I'm hoping Rio will be back in the team. Well the guy took painkilling injections to a toe injury last season just to keep playing so here's hoping his back will hold up. I'm not gonna even make a team prediction yet until we hear more news.

I doubt Tosic will play. Fergie said February so I expect February. If the majority of us were manager we would rush him nto the team. Fergie knows best.

My team with the assumption all our injured players tonight will miss the game.

--------------------- VDS ---------------------
Neville ----- Vidic ------ O'Shea ------ Fabio
Ronaldo ---- Carrick --- Scholes ------ Park
------------ Berbatov ---- Tevez ------------

If Fabio plays I'd stick Park there for the cover. Rest of the team picks itself, O'Shea moved to CB but I'm hoping Evans or Rio are fit. Maybe Fletcher instead of Scholes.

Yeah, my reason for mentioning Tosic was due to the amount of injuries we currently have, so maybe Fergie will bring him in earlier than expected. Just a thought anyway.

Like the team though, more than capable of winning.

Do we know how far along match fitness Fabio is !?

I dont know what to say. Only Fergie knows whether he is ready or not. I will just say that we have been expecting to see him in action a few times now but have been disappointed on each occasion. Now we are running out of defenders and his name is being called for again.

The reserves have lacked action but he looked sharp in their most recent game. With an injury to Rafael, now may be the time to give him a chance. Neville should start against Tottenham but I dont see why he cant make the bench.

That team looks ok to me

If this lads all out -> Rooney, Ferdinand, Brown, Evra, Rafael, Evans, Hargreaves, Nani, Anderson.........

XI: VDS, Fletcher, Nevile, Vidic, O´Shea, Ronaldo, Scholes, Carrick, Park, Tevez, Berbatov

Bench: Kuszczak, Chester, Fabio, Gibson, Giggs, Tosic, Welbeck

van der Sar
Neville
Vidic
Evans
O'Shea
Ronaldo
Scholes
Carrick
Park
Tévez
Berbatov

Kuszczak
Fletcher
Welbeck
Nani
Chester
Gibson
Possebon

If Nani's out, then I guess Tošić will have to step in.

Our squad looks OK-ish, especially if Ferdinand is returning, although Gibson has to step up.

You cant be more deluded? Nani more likely. Also where is the cover for the defence?

Nani injury is just a minor one, should be fine.

What he said

Agreed but I really hope Evans will be fit!.....Nani on the bench instead of Tosic maybe.

I'd like to see tosic or fabio feature. we're at home and I think it was noticeable we lacked an injection of pace with fletcher and o'shea as full backs.

Fabios lacking games but so was rafael. Sometimes the buzz can get you through the 90 minutes

I guess we might see possebon too, perhaps as a sub as Sir Alex said he was looking to give him a game.

We've a game three days after so I think one or two will be given a chance. I don't think it will be our strongest team - on top of that is the injuries

We have to look at all the alternatives if Anderson misses the rest of the season etc

We really need to get through this injury-ridden period with as much points as possible.

Do we get 3 points for beating Spurs then? :P

I'd expect Fabio to be in the squad if not starting. Personally, i'd stick O'Shea and Vidic in the middle if Evans isn't fit. Then we can play Fabio on the left with Park as backup on the left wing.

Any ideas on who is actually available and who are deffiantly out?
