Manchester United v West Ham United

Holy crap balls.

i'm gonna hold off on going balistic cause i tend to be proven wrong but dear lord I am not happy with that team AT ALL.

I can't even begin to... i just don't.... i mean....

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?

Foster in goals? Why, why the hell play foster? Is VDS too tired? Nev at RB...no, just freaking no. Gibson in midfield? What THE HELL is that? Anderson seemingly on the left? Are you just ripping the piss Fergie? "Ere, Ando, you're getting one more chance to prove youself tonight, don't let me down or your United career is finished.... BTW, you're playing left wing with Gibson in the centre."

Holy CRAP BALLS.

Here we go !

Not the line up I would have went for. I'd rather have Anderson in the middle and Park down the left.

Also would have rather had Rafael at RB and Rio starting alongside Vida.

Obviously certain players are being rested for Sunday.

So are you a WUM or just an idiot?

Good team, should do the job.

I don't think any of us knows what formation we'll play with tonight's team.

Who would have predicted Fletch on the left and Park in the centre against Milan?

I like that Foster is getting a game. Not sure about the rest of the team, but with Rooney in there and Vidic back we've got a good chance.

feck off.

It's a very odd formation, but I expected at it home to West Ham. My concern was whether Rooney would start, and he is. So I think we'll be too strong for them, especially with Berbatov and Valencia up there too.

Vidic is starting and no-one seems excited. Strange. That's a good team to be fair, not sure what the spastication is for.

Who would have predicted Fletch on the left and Park in the centre against Milan?

Well I can't see Gibson or Scholes down the left, Anderson has played there before and the formation that MUTV has is:

------------------Foster-------------------
Neville--------Brown----Vidic-----------Evra
Valencia-----Scholes----Gibson----Anderson
------------Rooney-----Berbatov-----------

Or could it be 4-3-3 with the midfield three being Scholes, Gibson & Anderson. Up front, Valencia and Berbatov either side of Rooney?

True. Is he not even on the bench?

Another fecking injury would be heart-breaking.

Nope, not even the bench.

Huge concern, I can't think of any reason other than injury he wouldn't even be on the bench...

OK, my fears over this one have not be calmed by that lineup. Really hoped for Rio to come back. That defence with Neville, Brown in front of Foster is not secure at all.

And whether that midfield will work or not all comes down to whether Anderson has his head together and whether Gibson can keeps things simple instead of thinking he needs to score a wondergoal ever time he goes into the other teams half.

This is going to be a nailbiter.

It's still a good team and I still think we'll see West Ham off tonight.

If we don't win, it's not down to a few players being left out, it'll be down to the players tonight not doing their jobs.

I'm excited about Vidic starting but Brown, Neville and Foster scare me a bit... but I'll be delighted if I'm proven wrong!

I wonder if it will be

Back 5
Gibson Anderson
Scholes
Valencia Rooney Berbatov

Man Utd: Foster, Neville, Brown, Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Gibson, Scholes, Anderson, Berbatov, Rooney. Subs: Kuszczak, Owen, Park, Rafael, Evans, Fletcher, Diouf.

West Ham: Green, Faubert, Tomkins, Upson, Spector, Behrami, Noble, Kovac, Diamanti, Franco, Cole. Subs: Stech, Dyer, Ilan, Mido, Da Costa, Collison, Daprela.

Fergie is probably resting Rio's back for Sunday.

True. Is he not even on the bench?

Unfortunately not. Let's hope he's just rested for the Carling Cup final, but seriously, why should he be rested if he's just coming back from a four-games-suspension? It doesn't make any sense... or I just don't it?!

Good to see Vidic though, we should be able to deal with Cole then.

Okay, I'm going to except the worst. Foster, Gibson, Neville, all good players but this is a really important game. If there's not a good reason for leaving out Carrick, not allowing Rafael to start, or Ferdinand to come back and get match-time with Vidic, then I'm baffled. I think we're going to get done in midfield unless Rooney ends up being thrown on the left for large portions of the game like in the past.

Obviously, after saying that, the team will prove me wrong and shut me the feck up, which is why I love them :)

Foster is starting, wow...

Seems like most of you didn't see that, should be an interesting game. C'mon United

Not in a million years would I have predicted this. Definitely wow.

Am not surprised at Anderson starting on the left - I mentioned he was an option prior to Everton game.

No Rio is a shock. Neville not so much as he had a decent game against Everton.

Either way it is a team that should win - lets go out and get the 3 points. I'll take a good workman like win.

Great to see Fresh legs in the Man Utd team should do well against this West Ham team.
