Why?
Valencia has done exceptionally well as a right winger this season and he's completely unproven as a central midfielder at this level (for Manchester United).
Park has done well recently playing a central role given the license to drift around.
Nani is... Nani. Inconsistent wherever he plays.
Makes far more sense to play Valencia - right, Park - central, and Nani - left in a game of this calibre than trying new things.

You can really tell from the ITV4 interview with Beckham, HOW much of a United fan he was and still is. Really wanted him to start tonight, but wasn't meant to be.
