Manchester United vs. Ajax

That's just Fabio with a mirror...

Where is that from? They are all training.

Physioroom lists Giggs and Berbatov as out with 'no return date' and Anderson is listed as being back this weekend.

Lots of things could happen with Cleverley and Pogba starting. Young could playing 'in the hole' with Cheech or Welbeck up top, Park could play in midfield or on either wing. Either Scholes or Carrick could be put into a midfield 3 to allow Pogba and Cleverley to play in a more advanced roll, or they could be a 2 man midfield.

I'd guess we'll go with 4231 since we're at home, with Young, Nani, Park and Chicharito the front 4.

If the pair of them spark up their relationship from earlier in the season then I'm more than happy for the gayness. Although it has to be said, "DERP!"

I'd be surprised if Pogba isn't on the bench. Don't think he'll start though.

Ferguson has said he won't be starting according to Craig Norwood on twitter. He mabe close to signing for Juventus.

7 hours before KO.. Dont think there is a squad being reported anywhere.
Its all guesswork.

Comes from a normally reliable source on Red Issue - and now also on the less so reliable twitter.

From the horse's mouth:

Young French midfielder Paul Pogba may also come into contention, although it seems more likely the 18-year-old, whose contractual position remains unresolved, will be on the bench.
"It is possible we could give Pogba a run-out," said Ferguson.
"It depends because there are a lot of players who need a game; Nani, Young, Hernandez, Cleverley, Smalling, Jones.
"Those players will all play tomorrow and we hope to put a sprinkling of experience amongst it."

which is a change of order to make itsound like he was including Pogba in with the rest. It was actually said like this
Young Reds to face Ajax

Sir Alex Ferguson will treat Thursday night's Europa League clash against Ajax as an opportunity to hand game time to those players who most need it... and many of them are relative newcomers to European football.

The Reds hold a 2-0 lead going into the second leg, and although the Manchester United manager isn't expecting an easy match against the Dutch champions, he took the unusual step of revealing a large chunk of his team more than 24 hours before kick-off.

"There are a lot of players who need a game, players who haven't been playing lately," Sir Alex said at his pre-match press conference. "Nani, Ashley Young, Javier Hernandez, Tom Cleverley, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones... they all need games and they'll all play tomorrow in whatever position I decide to play them. Then we'll hope to get a sprinkling of experience amongst it."

The boss also admitted there's a chance Paul Pogba could gain some valuable first-team experience. The 18-year-old Frenchman has yet to start a senior match for United, but has been involved in a number of matchday squads and was an unused substitute in Amsterdam last Thursday.

"It's possible," Sir Alex conceded, "but it depends on the rest of the team."

Was tempted to get me and the mrs some tickets as a surprise for her... £72 for two tickets in the heavens... Channel 5 it is.

Bollocks thought this was a 6 oclock kick off again

Some kind of ZOMG EXCLUSIVE news about tonight's game has been posted on the members only United We Stand forums.

Anyone care to reproduce it here?

Probably something about free pies if you arrive before 7

Probably just trying to get more people to sign up to their forum. If it was anything important it would have been spread on twitter by now but as far as I can see there's nothing.

I hope my tv listings don't lie this time. I had to pay UEFA to watch the last match and wait until the matchday was over in Europe. Wasn't too happy about that.
