EDL went to Holland last year to spout there bollocks and a Jewish section of the Ajax fan base gave 'em a bit of a kicking.

So tonight the EDL have travelled to Manc in a revenge mission...

And with Ajax bringing a fair bunch of handy blokes over (Saw various big groups around Deansgate earlier) there are plenty to send the EDL packing once again...

Jones has apparently come into the squad and became a real players favourite in the short time that he's been there. He knows when to be professional but also gets involved in all the banter. Old head on young shoulders.

Fergie is beginning the moulding process well and truly now. Jones will be a linchpin in the team for the next decade or more.

Also interesting that Fergie felt he needed Carrick, Giggs AND Scholes on the bench, instead of giving one of the spots to Pogba, in case we're up late and all.

On the off-chance that someone happens to have a link to an audio-only stream (work doesn't much care if I listen to the game on headphones, watching is another story) that can be heard in the USA, that person should totally not PM me with that link.

He is either injured or wont be included till the contract situation is sorted. Cant think of any other reason why he isnt in the squad tonight.

Have you failed to notice we have a back four with an average age of 21, 3 wingers and a centre mid in midfield and two strikers not exactly known for putting in a shift defensively?

I think we might well be calling on Carrick, Giggs AND Scholes, personally.

At the very least it's sensible to have them all there.

Am I the only one nervous about this team?!

I dont think its the strongest team and it gives Ajax a chance... But I still dont care about the europa league.. not nervous at all.

This has been a strange season. We looked great at times, but failed to turn up on several occasions. I don't think a 1-3 loss would be totally unreasonable.
However, you expect to go through if you win the away leg 0-2. I really want us to win, but if we went out, wouldn't be too downhearted, since we could concentrate solely on the league.

Looks like a fun team selection. A lot will be expected of Park in that central role though. He's better at attacking from that position rather than controlling the game. Otherwise everyone else looks good.

We dare not bottle this lead.
