Manchester United vs. Arsenal

Having read the Arsenal Mania build up thread, I think I actually prefer this one simply because I don't feel like slitting my wrists. I'll leave that til full time.

It's definitely one of those where if Fergie picks the line-up we mostly seem to want, I'll feel pretty confident, but if he goes with a Scholes and Carrick in the middle, or any two-man midfield really, then I can't see us getting much from the game.

Surely even Fergie can't :wenger: the fact that Ando and Cleverley need to be starting this. They're both in such good form.

Ando was pretty wrecked after the CC game, dont think he can start this. I hope Clev does though. Wouldnt fancy Carrick and Scholes vs the Arsenal trio. Even then though, we should have too much in the other areas. Am strangely confident about this seeing as its a big game, think we'l win even if its Scholes and Carrick in a middle 2.

Sounds like the opposite to RAWK then? Full of realists and pessimists as opposed to RAWK's disturbingly delusional psycho fans.

“@GaryLineker: Just saw the Manchester United players board the coach, but no sign of Robin Van Persie. Left out or travelling with Arsenal team?”

You should have read the Reading thread in the week. More people were moaning about the defensive display than actually celebrating how we'd turned it around.

Fair play. Prefer that to fans who think their team is full of world beaters and are only being held down by a conspiracy.

FYI, Van Persie is travelling. Gary Lineker is trolling. Dont get your knickers in a twist. Relax

Yeah, Shreeves said he just saw RVP arrive.

Unusually for me I dreamt about the game last night - twice in fact, and we lost both times; the second result was a hammering where their keeper scored a header.

No longer looking forward to this one :( :smirk:

feck feck feck forgot to pay the tv subscription.I'm dreading watching this via streaming but at the same time I'll be with you lunatics on this thread

It is. Read above, GaryLineker started spreading that rumour which was false as RVP was later shown to be at Old Trafford.
