Prediction:2-0 Rooney 2

Villa have been on good form recently so it might not be so straightforward, they also have a rather good new striker.

It doesn't help that the matchday thread has been set up with no thought for the user.

The matchday thread provides a service for everyone...don't feck it up...eh?

Solius, those badges are from FM folder or what?

I just took the first folder I could find on Google. It's now been replaced by the second I could find on Google, even though the tosser who made them has cut off some of the shadow.

And we drew that one.

This game is not on TV in Poland, too. I don't remember when I used streams watching United for the last time...

If it's any consolation I'll be watching in HD on my 42".

Team should be...

GK: VDS

RB: O'Shea
CB: Smalling
CB: Vidic
LB: Evra

RM: Nani
CM: Fletcher
CM: Anderson
LM: Giggs

CF: Rooney
CF: Berbatov

Subs: PIG, Brown, Scholes, Park, Gibson, Owen, Hernandez

The above is assuming no one is fit, Park must be back for this one no?

I'll go 3-0, hope Villa can't handle the Giggs/Rooney/Berbatov three sum which has been doing well in recent weeks

On Thursday started running and I'm pretty sure I read somewhere we have all back four ready to play with Aston Villa.

Go with a strong squad IMHO, I'm sure changes will be made if we're winning realtively easily, for Wolves on Sat

Martin O Neill's Aston Villa used to attack us from the word go & caused us plenty of problems with their pace. But I think Houllier's Villa plays a slightly more continental passing game. No longer are they the punmp it up to Heskey/Carew who will knock it down to wingers like Aghblaghonr and Ashley Young who in turn will send loads of teasing crosses. If we play to our best, we should have little problem winning this fixture (esp since its at Old Trafford)

Only beat us once I believe in amongst some good trashings from us

United will complete their next two tasks - against Villa and at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday - without Park Ji-sung, who has been given a week off to recover from his Asian Cup exploits with South Korea.

Excellent news people - Chris Foy is the referee! To the best of my knowledge we have never lost a league-game with Foy as referee :)

VDS
O'Shea, Rio, Vida, Evra
Nani, Carrick, Fletcher, Giggs
Rooney, Berbatov

Bench: TK, Chicha, Owen, Anderson, Scholes, Smalling, Evans

Give Rafael at least till the weekend to recover, no good risking him and O'Shea has played pretty well.
