Manchester United vs Aston Villa

Thank feck.

I had heard he was due to be back in time for our game. His absence has arguably been one of the main factors in Villa's recent collapse.

That and the dip in form of their offensive and their lack of depth. Very good news though, they will be a lot weaker without him

Bench: Foster, Neville, Fabio, Gibson, Nani, Welbeck, Macheda

This will probably be the one. Biggest weekend of the season so far, scousers draw on Saturday and we win on Sunday and suddenly it's business as usual again. Or we could be really screwed.

Nows THATS[/B] a logical question!

Nani is three times the player that Park is. He`s got skill to burn & can turn a game in a moment. Unfortunately, like the majority of footballers, Nani is a confidence player. You can`t attain confidence by sitting on the feckin` bench, so I feel this season is a washout for him & it makes me mad! It should be Park who is the fringe player, not Nani.

I just don`t get this new breed of United fan campaigning for boring bloody drudgery over flamboyant skill. "Park works his socks off for the team, I love the little guy" etc etc ad infinum .. What cock!! Well get this, his mosquito like annoyance value doesn`t wash against the big boys. His inclusion on the teamsheet is a statement of "respect" to the opposition, an attempt of containment rather than getting the other team on the back foot.. bah .. he`s a breaker upper, a spoiler, nothing more! He frightens nobody. He has no vision, he not the brilliant tackling machine much vaunted on these pages, he can`t cross a ball to save his fecking life & as an attacking force United are poorer for having him in the side. No wonder we can`t score for toffee at the moment.

So there`s your fecking logic!! Now hit me with all the Houllier`s you like because I don`t get it & La La La .. I`m not listening!

That's not logic that's idiocy.

This even sticks out in a matchday thread as a spastic post. Well done!

I'm feeling confident

I feel refreshed about us, and I don't even fecking play. I reckon the players will have had time to reassess, and we'll be itching to get the win, especially after Liverpool go top on Sat.

That would be a horrible idea, Giggs behind Tevez, with Ronnie and Park/Nani on the wings, and a CM of Fletcher and Carrick

If Fulham were to repeat they're "heroics" from last matchday, then I'll be a happy man. They probably wont though. Plus, Paul Scholes doesnt play for liverpool.

and Danny Murphy does

That would be my team with maybe Nani for Park. Not bothered with with either off them playing but I'd like Nani to get a game in

hand on heart I really dont care what liverpool do at fulham today. the league is not in their hands. there seems to be this feeling creeping in everywhere that all liverpool have to do is win their games and they will be champions. they wont. even yesterday carragher was saying that liverpool were determined to win all their remaining games so that our game in hand would not matter. well I'd like everyone including our scouse friends to remember that the game in hand does matter. as does the point. and until we lose both we will be champions. the league is ours to win or lose and I only care about what we do

L'Pool can win every game 5-0 and still not win the title as long as we do our job. The media seems to forget that.

Just had a sneaky look on a Villa forum, they're not confident at all

Heskey and Laursen are out, Sidwell too

TBH the best they've played this season is when they played their 4-5-1, but since they changed to a 4-4-2 with 2 strikers they have been poor and unable to win. So with Heskey out its likely that Oneil will go back to his old formation :nervous:

But heres the team i reckon will be out tomorrow:

VDS
Neville Rio Evans Evra
Nani Carrick Fletcher Park
Ronaldo Tevez

I've gone for Ronaldo and Tevez up front so Tevez can work behind Ronaldo, whenever Tevez is up front alone he drops deep too much and we have no one in attacking areas, add to that he had a long flight back and forth for the WCQ's he will need all the help he can get

Of course I'd take any type of win, 1-0 with the goal going in off O'Shea's arse cheek will be good enough for me but seriously, I'd love us to give them a good hiding, come on lads let's do it

Oh shit i just remembered that Friedel had his red over turned :nervous: Why do keepers only raise their game when they play us!

If that happened i can see Liverpool fans/player lose their belief in a 19th title... :smirk:

I hear a few people saying that Macheda will start, come on a serious note i doubt he will even make the bench.

I remember when Evra was out and we all thought Fabio would get a game at times and he never even made the bench.

It's got to be Ronaldo and Tevez up front. Right Back is a bit of a tough one, i would go with O'Shea as the pace of Agbonlahor and A Young might be too much for Nev, not that O'Shea has got great pace.

As much as i want to see Nani get a game as i think he deserves a few chances, i will go with Park tomorrow and Nani Next weekend against Sunderland.

When Liverpool were 0-0 today i was looking forward to tomorrows game and once that goal went in, i am now dreading tomorrow, but hopefully the boys wont let us down.

i'll take a 1 nil...just want them fecking 3 points no matter how we get them.

Would love a last minute winner from Ronnie although I will be shitting myself if it takes that long to get a lead, a win is a win, also I think it would help the squad. I think that a blowout would be better, but I dont see it happening 2-0 at best, which is a good result against Villa, considering the players United have out.

3 points please, don't care how we get it, an own goal by villa or a peno would be fine. the most important thing is to get back to winning ways and get ahead of the scousers (can't believe the dippers are still in it).
