Hopefully Edwins back for the weekend if not then obviously PIG will stay in goal...Fergie said tonight after the match that he expects Vidic to be back for the weekend, no mention of Brown so looks like that will be the back 4....hopefully one of Berbatov and Rooney recover enough to play as Owen will be in great confidence come the weekend now.

Team should be....

Confident of victory in this one, I'll go 3-0 Rooney, Berbatov & Valencia the scorers

feck it, lets try even more experimental.

Rooney

Lets be fair...it doesn't really matter who the Feck fergie puts out and where they play..the lads chosen will give it their all and I'm confident will do the business.

True that i dont think any other club in europe could have gone away from home to a team of that quality like tonight (lets not forget these are the current German champions) without 15! first team players and win so well....no other team could cope with that sort of injury list...many clubs brag about their squad depth and claim to have the strongest squads...where as we simply prove our squad depth on the pitch...

Although I do hope Vidic and Brown are back. Wolfsburg had a lot of free headers in the box today.

Ah sod it I'm gonna join in the fun:

---------------------PIG-------------------
Fletch--------Vidic--------Brown-------Evra
Valencia----Anderson-----Carrick----Obertan
-------------Rooney-----Owen-------------

According to Fergie, Rooney and Berba are doubtful for Villa.

fecking hell!!

how many regular players are fit ? 2-3 ?

Rooney and Berba ? Oh Noes, What the feck is it with our injuries ? Does someone have the link of players on the injury list?

Kuszczak
Fletcher Brown Vidic Evra
Valencia Carrick Anderson Giggs
Rooney Owen
--
Foster; De Laet; Gibson, Park, Nani, Obertan; Berbatov

I heard Brown was expected to be fit along with Vidic, but then Fergie said in his interview after the Wolfsburg game that he expects Vidic back and he'll continue with Carrick at centre back and Fletcher at right back... If so, we're probably looking at Gibson or Scholes starting with the other on the bench. I'd really hope to have one of Fletcher or Carrick able to step into their usual position though - I feel that our centre midfield (if it's a two-man one) looks a lot weaker without one of Fletcher or Carrick in it.

Owen won't start if both Berba and Rooney are fit.

Dunno Berbatov hasnt started a league game for us since the home game against Blackburn 6 weeks ago.....and the fact a mere 20 minute run out against west ham last weekend was enough to rule him out for the wolfsburg game suggests somethings nagging away with that knee problem of his.....

Kuszczak
Fletcher Carrick Vidic Evra
Valencia Gibson Anderson Giggs
Rooney Berbatov

Foster, De Laet, Gibson, Park, Nani, Obertan, Owen

3-0, Rooney x2, Giggs x1

Edit: THE GIBSON BROTHERS!

Is Scholes suspended? Him on the bench then. If not throw in some youth. Or Welbeckistan.

Bummer, first game this season i'm going to miss :(

This isn't a good sign either considering the last 3 games I've missed, we've lost each time.

-------------------------Kuzczak------------------------

--Fletcher--------Vidic---------Carrick--------Evra----

--Valencia--------Gibson--------Anderson------Giggs----

------------------Owen------Rooney---------------------

Subs: Foster, Welbeck, Obertan, Park, Scholes, Nani, De Laet
Prediction:2-1 win. Goals from Rooney, Owen

Are Rooney and Berbatov fit?

Apparently yes quotes from fergie after last nights game saying they will both be back for saturday....Rooney im sure will definetly start...am unsure about Berbatov though he hasnt played much football for us in a while now and on the back of Owens hatrick Fergie may opt to leave him on the bench again....

Injured...

Owen and Macheda hat-trick then.

Someone was randomly talking about some player being injured, then Cafe members jumped on it and acted as if he is indeed injured.
He is not. He was left behind with Villa in mind. That is the official word on Manutd.com.
On Ben Hibbs twitter, it was someone who was asking a question, it was not Hibbs who was saying Macheda is injured.
