Problem is cant see rags getting much worse so we need to get a lot better!

We need to sign 3 or 4 really top quality players.

Going forward as much as he has done well for us I don't see Barry as a regular starter. Ok for the bench and in some games but he was found out in Europe. We need at least one top midfielder who also contributes goals.

Milner should get a central midfield position and hopefully Rodwell will be cured and offer good support.

I think we clearly need at least one top striker and maybe two if tevez goes. If guidetti is not going to be risked then sell him but I would use him as 4th striker.

I would also buy a left back as good as if not better than clichy to put some pressure on him.

We also need cover for CB if Lescott goes. I would keep kolo on a yearly contract if he will accept that.

I would expect to see kolorov, Lescott, Dzeko, Maicon and Sinclair depart and possibly Garcia if we can get some money back for him.

Keep Kompany, Aguero, Silva and Yaya in the side all season and we may have a 50/50 chance

So basically, spend another 150m on 3-4 on "top quality players".
 
Why the feck does every commentator need to ask at some point "What is Phil Jones best position?" like its some hugely controversial topic? He's 20 ffs.
 
Ahh. So he had 3 in 8 seasons with them and 2 in less than one at united.

Playing alongside better players does help.
Didn't he say something about there being 11 champions on the pitch for united.

Piers, have a word with your sniveling owners at the Emirates, not with RvP and all the other players who were fed up with profitable mediocrity and a manager unwilling to stand up for the fans.

This is when this season will be seen as transitional, the deadwood will be cleared, the club payscale and salaries will be re-structured for the new arrivals allowing us to progress onwards and upwards.

I honestly can't wait for the summer, I know nothing is guaranteed but I have the utmost faith in Soriano & Txiki which will be repaid this summer.

Bring on the next season and we will show the premier league and europe how strong we are.
