Manchester United Vs Bayer Leverkusen

That didn't look good for Valencia there, going down and squatting, first thing that came to my mind was a heart attack or something.

Good half. Should add a second in the second half..

Was just checking the Madrid game.. Casillas started, but got injured again and was substituted by Alves after only 15 mintues..

Just got on to see the RVP booking, how have we played?

Goodish. Had some good moves and have again looked really good in terms of shape and they haven't created a single chance. Could probably do with another to likely put this one to bed, but while Leverkusen are obviously capable of scoring, we look really comfortable yet again.

Valencia is strange, he looks good on the ball, fast and seems willing to run at his man, but then he just doesn't really do anything and his final ball is terrible. I miss the real Valencia.

Nice to have Kagawa in playing intelligent football I think.

Excellent half I thought. Fellaini has fitted in brilliantly, Rooney is a livewire and I've been pleasantly surprised by Smalling aswell

The Fellaini praise all over the net is going a bit far, he's been good, but people are going on like he's having an exceptional game, he's gave away a fair few balls with majorly shit passes. His hounding them and forcing them to rush has been good.

That's more like it!

Roo is on fire. Why can't he play like that all the time? I think Fellaini improves us. Great to have a midfielder, apart from Michael Carrick, who looks good enough - not necessarily a world-beater, but good enough.

Felliani has been a bit suspect with his passing, but defensively he's been great. It'll take him for him to fully settle, but I like what I'm seeing so far.

Good half IMO.

Dominated the half and didn't give them a sniff at our goal.

You can tell Rooney wants to again be known as the number at united. I guess thats why you need competition in the squad.

Leverkusen have not really threatened us at all, bar that one cross from Son.

I like this team. We seem to be very much in control of everything, but since we have RVP, Rooney and Kagawa up front, we can produce magic at any time. I'd prefer it if we could play with more fluidity, but I'm not gonna complain because the lineup is too good.

He started very well and then his passing became much more hit and miss. Won a lot of tackles though which is something people aren't used to.

Yup. Could have done better going forward but our urgency was good. Defensively we've been excellent.

Like how Rooney's feet seem to be once again working with how his football mind thinks. Good stuff.

Hes a 27 mil signing, you are going to be praising every completed pass.

Hes a competent decent player. But nothing has changed to make me think he will take United any higher than they were without him.

Rooney the standout for me, Kagawa looks understandably rusty despite a few good moments, and defence looks fairly sound.

Got a feeling this will end 2-1.

Decent enough half, we were always in control and havent been stretched at all.
Kagawa is so obviously top class and just needs more games, the tall bloke with the big hair has done ok and looks as though he has been told to play deep along side Carrick, he has played a couple of stray passes but has won the ball back well and done the simple things well for the majority of the time.

What, miss the obvious early ball to a completely free Rooney so he could run into a blind alley?

Its better than him missing to early ball to Rooney and running into a defender or stopping and passing it back. He may not have picked the early ball but he at least got forward well with the ball and almost got us in another way

Fellaini has played good for me. Few shite passes, but no doubt he will have some nerves tonight.
