On 2nd thought, with Carrick and Fletcher, Gibson might not be too bad. He can run around and has a beast of a shot on him.
 
SAF did not lie, the situation change. Rooney felt good enough and I am sure they have given him some pain injections as well.
I don't understand why people are so surprised? Did anybody really know how much Rooney was injured? It was all in your imaginations really and also based on the writings of some jurnos in their basements.
 
Gibson starting is even more out of left field than Rooney for me.
