What a start from us but that goal for them has awakened the fight in Bayern. This tie is still in danger for us unless we keep going and try to kill them off. We simply must increase the lead rather than allowing them opportunities to reduce it. We have played excellent football so far.

That ref has been all over the fecking place with his calls. Sometimes he lets play go on, other times the Bayern players fall down and it's a foul. Other times we get mugged, and no call.

Excellent first half , but its not over yet I can see both teams scoring again.

From being 3-0 up on the night to having half a goal lead in the tie. It's going to be squeeky bum time if it continues like this into the final 3rd of the game.
The last 5 mins should teach us that we cannot let up for even a min in this match because bayern have the quality to take advantage of that slack.
We really didn't need that Olic goal, still I think we should just stick to being offensive and goals will come for us.

Decent first half bar the last few minutes.. Sloppy goal but those are the kind of 'fouls' Bayern have been getting all half. The ref has been a bit picky, and I think it's been in Bayern's favour a lot more often. Hoping that changes, they've been buying free kicks so much and we've not got any luck yet. Difference is, we've not needed it.
Rooney did his job in the first 10 minutes, no point risking him now because he is clearly struggling. Macheda or Berbatov, Macheda perhaps better suited to our pacey attack.
Can Carrick change his boots or has he got a concussion?

Sensational half of football from us. In a way, their goal is a timely reminder and should keep us focused. we will create more chances in 2nd half. I;d bring on Berbs for rooney who if we are honest has not been in the game cos of that cynical foul on him

We thoroughly deserve the lead but they look classy coming forward and you know they are going to keep that up until the last second so we will for sure need more goals. At least we look like we have them in us tonight!

Great performance but a rubbish goal to give away, still i suppose its better to give one away before HT and go in to clear it then them getting one early in the second half.
