Mostly brilliant first half by United but that Bayern goal has gotten me worried. Hopefully we'll start the 2nd half like we started the first.
It's feels unfair that we're outplaying them, winning 3-1, but knowing that Bayern only need one goal.

Rafael's yellow was a travesty... Van Bommel fouled him and even got the ball. Rafael was playing unbelieveble before that but now he has to watch himself in every situation in the 2nd half..

This game is all in the hands on SAF. It will depend on who he bring in for Rooney. Bring Berba and he will not be able to lead the line. Bring Giggs and it will not change much. The only person who can really cause the defense some trouble is Kiko, but he is not match fit.
But the last option I want to see it Berba. He should be the last sub if he is to play at all.
p.s. All of Bayern's goals have been soft, weak, silly, and stupid on our part. Why is Carrick the only one slipping on the pitch?

I'm completely off my rocker, but Rooney has nowt to do with it. The lads have the bit in their teeth. I hope Berba starts the 2nd half.
I think we all would have taken a 3-1 half-time score before the game started. We just need to be positive and not sit back. We will deffo score again.

Not too sure about taking Rooney off. He does seem to be able to contribute, plus taking him off will give Munich a huge boost. The way he sprinted towards the box when Rafael broke free is something no one in our team is capable of.
This reminds me of a fecking Fiorentina game so much, they were shit in that game too but got two goals they didn't really deserve and Fiorentina all of a sudden stopped playing.
We're much better than Fiorentina, mind you. I could see us scoring another two goals in the second half.

We keep that level up in the second half and we will create chances. It would take a real let down second half performance for us to throw this away now.

We need to score 1 more. We need to end up scoring 2 more then them...simple as that. I had Bayern scoring at least 2 at the start of the game and have a feeling they will get 1 in the second half. We just need to make sure we score 4 or more and we'll go through.

They might as well have sent the chuckle brothers to referee the game, they would have done a better job.
Interesting you mention this, I was thinking exactly the same when Olic scored. Bayern winning the first leg 2-1, being 2-0 down away from home and coming back to go through on away goals - 3-2. Completely undeserved, but I fear for us... you never know with Bayern.
Excellent performance in the first half though, our wingers, full-backs and central midfielders have been astonishing.
