Manchester United vs Birmingham City

What is it with you and Kleberson? He's been rubbish since day one.....I'm not bothered about this Brazilian World Cup winner that we are under-using, he's been a misfit since day one, and hardly ever even in the country. He's a cast iron gonner. Fletcher spends rather a lot of time in Manchester, goes to training everyday, and goes out and looks like he wants to play for United - that's worth 50 Klebersons mate. 'A great technical passing player'?.....could have done with him on Tuesday night, eh?

Your comment about it being 'shameful' that John O'Shea is more likely to get a goal than Fletcher, is both bizarre in it's situation and childish in its conclusion.

Good luck with the Kleberson thing.

Agreed.

In that case,

--------Carroll---------
-G.Nev-Rio-Brown-Heinze-
--O'Shea-Keane-Scholes--
-Ronaldo----------Giggs-
---------Rooney---------

Jones on the bench, please.

This is all irellivant, as I shall not name the team until around 45 minutes before kick off

Fletcher should be dropped for either O'Shea or Fortune in my opinion. I think it is shameful almost that O'Shea looks more likely to score a goal for us than Fletch when playing in the same position. I guess everyone will tell me i am being too harsh etc, and tell me that Fletch has been great, i a just not so impressed, i fell he does not offer much at all and would rather a fully fit Kleberson even, as he is a great, technical passing player with a good strike on him
You are a fool, quit winding everybody with your fool like comments

aint it on pay per view or sky sports
Man Utd tv should show the live matches since im a member of mutv

"insert" why does sky sports do this every so often when one week i get to watch man you on sky or pay pv then another week theirs nothing on just annoying stats and i thought i pay sky sports for me footbal not stats anyone feel this way

and another thing is if i dont watch a live match i cant watch it later at all it ruined couse i know or heard what has happen so it not worth watching its put me off

Preview: United v Birmingham

MANCHESTER United striker Alan Smith has been ruled out for another two weeks after suffering a setback in his recovery from an ankle injury.

The former Leeds player picked up the problem in his substitute appearance at Chelsea three weeks ago and manager Sir Alex Ferguson has decided to keep him on the sidelines for another fortnight to ensure he is fit for the clash with AC Milan on February 23.

Darren Fletcher (hamstring) also misses tomorrow's encounter with Birmingham, as does suspended defender Mikael Silvestre, with Wes Brown likely to return alongside Rio Ferdinand.

Meanwhile, Tunisian international Mehdi Nafti could be handed his Premiership debut as a replacement for Stephen Clemence as his partner is imminently expecting their first baby.

Emile Heskey (Achilles), Darren Anderton (groin), Stan Lazaridis (thigh), Salif Diao (calf) and Muzzy Izzet (knee) are definitely ruled out.

Striker Robbie Blake is a doubt with calf injury so Clinton Morrison could be in line for a recall.

Manchester United (from): Carroll, Howard. G Neville, P Neville, Brown, Ferdinand, O'Shea, Heinze, Fortune, Ronaldo, Scholes, Keane, Miller, Giggs, Saha, Rooney, Bellion.

Birmingham City (from): Taylor, Melchiot, Cunningham, Upson, Clapham. Pennant, Johnson, Clemence, Gray, Blake, Pandiani, Nafti, Tebily, Morrison, Vaesen, Carter, Kuqi, Till.

The guy's like a fecking stuck record. I'm beginning to think he IS Kleberson

Fletcher's not in the side as a goalscoring threat. And now's a strange time to lay into him, given that he's just had a great half against the Arse and he's not fit anyway.

he is probably not scoring alot, but he has already plenty of assists (and those were mangificent sometimes). and as long as he creates goals, i am happy! his work rate is much higher than klebs, too. i have lost patience in kleb, to be honest

what i want to know is, what's going on with their training. we bring in some new fitness guru in valter di salva and all of a sudden we're getting injuries every week in training!

Scholes took a late kick from Pires v. Arsenal.

Nothing serious but Fergie apparently isnt too happy with the way it came about!
so nothing serious, to really worry about... good news. hopefully he will be available for the next game.
we still should be able to win against them, although scholes is a very important player!

Good team I think the formation would be more like this though:

-------------- Carroll --------------
Gaz ---- Rio ----- Brown ---- Heinze
------- Keano ---- O'Shea ---------
Ronaldo ---------------------- Giggs
-------------- Rooney -------------
--------------- Saha --------------

I'd just like to say that I don't reckon Scholes is injured. I reckon Fergie wanted to give Saha a start, and thought he was the most attacking player left who could use the rest.

Just a theory. Cue pre-match intereview saying he got a knock against the gooners...

Scholes did get a knock against the Gooners, Scholes is a key player, why would Ferguson un-neccesarily leave him out? If your theory was true, he would atleast have him on the bench!

Bench is:

12 David Bellion
25 Quinton Fortune
3 P. Neville
17 Liam Miller
1 Tim Howard

Let's hope we don't need to freshen the attack up then.....

Good attacking line-up. Should be able to get the goals. Scholes is hopefully just being rested...but he should be on the bench at least.

Cmon United

The bench look crap.

Sadly, Its the best bench available to us unless the youngsters are given a shot...and scholes should be there

CMON UNITED!

I'll go for a 3-1 win to us. Do it for the Busby Babes lads!

We need an early first goal.

FACT: We've never gone into halftime with a 2 goal advantage this season in the premiership,

did anyone hear what someone (sorry, dont know who) said on the pre match conference on 105.4? he said what a player keane is, and he laughed and said that gary neville is bigger than keane... class!
