Manchester United vs. Bolton Wanderers

Bolton: Bogdan; Steinsson, Wheater, Knight, Ricketts; Eagles, M.Davies, Muamba, Reo-Coker, Petrov; N'Gog

Bogdan in goal = goals.

We might as well hand City the title now - Ngog is playing.
*trembles*

Speaking of the bench, any word on it yet?

EDIT : #MUFC bench: De Gea, Giggs, Fabio, Pogba, Ji-Sung, Berbatov, Hernandez

Scholes in from the start?. Big difference from training and first team football.Hope I'm wrong.

Lindegaard

Rafael
Ferdinand
Evans
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Scholes
Nani

Rooney
Welbeck

SUBS: de Gea, Fabio, Pogba, Giggs, Park, Hernandez, Berbatov.

Scholes in starting line up worries me slightly. Can see him running out of steam pretty quickly, or taking it easy in order to try and maintain stamina

i dont see fergie starting anyone not up to it. if he tires after about 60 he'll be taken off, standard practice for a returning player. Im delighted he's in there, savour every pass!

Great to see Rafael back in the starting lineup.

I so hope we can bring on Pogba later in the game. Show him and the other one that the opportunity is there if you apply yourself. Pogba seems to be doing that.

Jeez, with all our injury problems, we lose Smalling, Jones and Anderson this week!

Honestly, what are the odds? It has to end eventually! I wonder who it will be next week. I'll guess Rafael, Giggs and Valencia.

When Kevin Davies comes on, he deserves plenty of boos. Sadly I doubt many people at Old Trafford remember or know what he did to Cleverley so I guess he won't get any.

Scholes and Carrick...I mean, it's mildly worrying, but it's driving me into a nostalgia-overdrive.

In what way, that he's injured again? No doubt just SAF playing it safe with Arsenal and Liverpool away up next.

He needs minutes not rest for feck sake!

Carrick and Scholes in midfield though

It would be great to see Pogba get some game time, give all the kids some hope at getting into the first team!

We´d have to wining by 3 goals or more to see him. Not going to happen.

I don't think SAF specified the type of knock. I find it hard to believe he wouldn't be on the bench if he was available.

SAF said he should be ok, doesn't matter anyway as there's no need to rush him back.

I think I should stop to hope that players will be back for a match when I hear Ferguson saying "they're injured, but should be ok" on press conference.

Scholes starting is a bit worrying given his legs were already pretty gone last season. A 6 month absence from football probably won't have helped. But giggs and jones needed a rest and I guess if ando had a knock then it makes sense. Good to see us keep with the front four though. Good to see fabio back hopefully if the games going well we can get evra a rest and carrick plus one of the wingers. But then I can't see scholes playing the 90 unless Bolton just give up.

he got a knock in training SAF don't want to risk his fitness with big games coming up.

Not playing De Gea for the second game running is a mistake...

Going to be another Howard & Caroll situation with neither keeper being 100% sure the manager trusts them.

Lindegaard is a decent keeper, but surely De Gea is the future and should be allowed to claim that #1 spot back.
