Manchester United vs Burnley

I agree Berbatov is creative but his last couple of games he has reverted back to walking everywhere with the ball. I think we are at our best when playing with pace and movement. When you have a player walking everywhere whether he be creative or not it doesnt matter because the pace is gone from the attacking momentum.

And hence why tards are seeing Diouf as the messiah, he could just offer something different. But I agree he shouldn't be starting ahead of Owen or Berba just yet, even Ole started of on the reserves

Pace on it's own is useless. We have no indication of what the boy's touch and finishing is like.

I'll take the 4 goals between Rooney and Berbatov in the last two league games started together as a sign of progress thank you very much. It's a good chance for both of them again today.

I'm also really glad Nani is back in the fold. He needs to prove himself and there probably isn't an easier game.

Fergie has seen the light...come on Nani...hattrick

You implying that Ferguson was wrong to drop Nani from the side? I'd say the lad has done nothing to warrant getting in the side this season.

Who knows. Maybe this prolonged spell out of the side could be the the mother of all man management strokes from Ferguson. You know, showing Nani how close he is to the door unless he bucks his ideas up.

2007/08 Nani would be a real bonus for this team.

If there ever was a time for a Nani to stand up and be counted for, it has to start this game.

Don't let us down lad.

Yup, I really, really, really want him to succeed and push on from now until the end of the season. Perfect game for him to shine and progress. Come on Nani!

Brown, Carrick, Nani and Berbatov all start.

We only need Foster in the side and we'd have a good 5 aside team of players guaranteed to get it in the neck if things go tits up today.

Based on? Other than 10 mins against Birmingham we know nothing. Personally when I see Diouf I think of Manucho but in truth we know so little about what he is capable of, so it is harsh to judge him . He could turn out to be another Ole and I hope so

Racist.

I'm not sure if I agree with this sentiment. He's only just back from injury.

I'm not expecting an amazing showing, I'll be happy if he plays sensibly, links well with his team mates and creates a couple of opportunities.

What I don't want to see is him being selfish and trying to prove a point.

The perennial issue with Nani has been all about decision making. I think we should accept that his game may be a little rusty today, but he needs to display a little more common sense when making decisions during the game.

He's got a maddening tendency to overdo things. I maintain that if he plays to his strengths and brings all the disparate facets of his game together, then we have got one of the best wingers in the league on our books.

There's not a better winger at beating his full back from a standing start in my opinion. He's shown the ability to deliver the ball consistently and I see no reason why he couldn't be a 10 goal player. Today is a big game for him and I think that keeping things simple may well go a long way. He'll have Evra on his side, so that makes his job a hell of a lot easier.

I'm so up for this game. I'm up for every United game but I've got a feeling that we'll destroy them today and kick on for the season.

I'm not suggesting Diouf should start! I'd like to see him score some goals in the reserves before getting a game for the 1st team!

There have been good moments in the last few games between Rooney and Berba but they havent been tearing teams apart.

I believe they could form a good partnership but we need to start playing with pace upfront. and when I talk about pace I mean in terms of quick movement, quick passing. Attributes that strech defences, which we havent done this season.

gutted to see neville start. he owes us for leeds.

nani will be a star today i can fell it. berba to get 2,a few assists for nani and rooney also to get on the score sheet for a 3-0 win..

Sorry, when it comes to Berbatov-Rooney with me, it's like a red rag to a bull.

Not too fond of the Scholes/Carrick combo. But this is burnley, so I hope they can do the job. Otherwise yes, I agree, its a good positive line-up.

Think of the memories though. 2006-2008 was a brilliant period with those two at the hub!
