Pleased with Nani so far. Valencia been dangerous. Need a bit more from the forwards and the defence needs to step up.

He has indeed. But Rooney could have an awesome game and then do something that frustrate you and you say FFS. Doesn't mean you're writing him off. It's just frustration of the game. People need to stop being OTT having a go for people just voicing opinion.

Not the most inspiring of halfs but apart from a nervy period we've been in control. I almost hate myself for saying this but the play lacks creativity, knock it wide to Nani and Valencia and then cross it in to players who are a bit rubbish at heading.

Need to show even more speed of thought and invention in the second half if we want the breakthrough. You get the feeling that the elusive first goal for us will settle the players down and lead to more.

Carrick needs to get his shit together. He seems to have regressed from a year or two ago where he was a subtle, yet influential force in midfield. His first touch has become appalling and has been anonymous. Scholes struggling to influence the game as well.
