Valencia has been very lively and his crossing has been about as good as he's capable of. A good half for him. Nani has been a bit more dangerous in the final third but less involved. For some reason our players tend to think about passing the ball to him and then turn and go the other way.

I wouldnt say its either his or scholes's fault. They need someone mobile with them to be effective. For every Scholes and Carrick, there has to be a Fletcher or Anderson partnering them in the midfield.

I confirm what I said, Valencia thinks slowly and he is slow in the first 2-3 meters. He has a good cross, but in my opinion is pretty average at 360 °.
I hope he can do more in the 2nd half, he has always 30 meters of space ahead of him, he has to play with 1 touch, and he has not to wait 5 seconds to pass the ball every time.

Heading has been horrible. A lot of the time they're hoofing it up, and heading it down to create something.

The referee hasn't helped either, slowing the game down with far too many stoppages.

On the contrary ive watched it all and many others on this thread have echoed what i just said......hes been very very poor...yet again....when you stop counting sideways and backward 5 yard passes and some form of orgasmic success and juicing over his pass succes rate youll see what many others are talking about.
