Absolute cnut of a referee. Hopefully his last United game ever.

'Cause I'd rather Shaw gets the minutes. It's clear that Lindelof isn't ready yet, we might as well try get our best left back back up to scratch.
Better to rest Blind though, since he's arguably our first-choice left back these days.

Least these terrible teams are able to lose any sympathy they may have had from fans by being complete cnuts.

What a cnut move that was from Varney.

Is this ref unwell? Kicks Smalling in the face = gets free kick.

God damn you Sammyjunn, just bloody enjoy it ...:nono:
They'd be time enough to moan about false dawns over the next few months. I am sat here refreshing the page depending on you cnuts and GifLord because the game isn't on TV.

Bloody hell these Burton players love a good foul

I think Blind starting tonight means Young will play left full at the weekend.

He will only get ready via playing. Also how long is Shaw going to be regarded our best left back?

Surely a red card for Varney had to be reckless play but no the ref gives him a free kick

Maybe manager thinks Shaw is not ready yet for full 45 mins or more. We haven't seen him train. We don't know how fit he is to handle things. Being a decent player 2-3 years back is hardly a reason to get him in.

I keep forgetting Burton are actually in the Championship. Seems strange like when Yeovil were there.

Thanks Giffy, as ever. Like many, I'm watching this through your gifs.

Why are we playing such a strong team?

Because Mourinho rates the league cup quite highly.

Can we play Burton every week? just to give our squad players a morale boost

Not certain, if Blind gets subbed right away. He hasn't had much games lately.

Alright throw Luke Shaw on for the 2nd half. Looking forward to seeing him thrown in with that front line we have right now.

    Pecking order seems to be:

    1. Young
    2. Blind/Darmian
    4. Shaw

    Right now.
