Quiet you!
It's an interesting enough line up for me to watch this meaningless game anyway.

I would suggest with Scholes on the bench he's being saved for Sunday... as are Fletcher and Carrick
Playing Rooney in this game really is a huge gamble.

Would it really matter who plays on Tuesday & Wed for a game on Sunday. Injuries aside I'm pretty sure they'll ALL be rested and raring to go (in both camps)
The only advantage I can see is in terms of training, ie a lot more of our players can work on a few more specifics with Sunday in mind without the distraction of a midweek match
Who plays Tue/Wed has no baring on fitness
Fat
Trolly trolly troll troll
I just reported that post for insulting other members. I have a glandular problem.![]()
No it doesn't. I think he will sub him around 60 minute mark anyway.I know Fergie seems to think he needs games to get back to form but playing him in such a meaningless game ahead of such a vital game at the weekend seems stupid.
From Uefa: De Gea, Jones, Smalling, Buttner, Wootton, Giggs, Cleverley, Powell, Rooney, Chicharito, Welbeck
5-1. Chicha x2, Rooney x2 and Powell.
Crikey Smalling, what was that?
