Manchester United vs. CFR Cluj

FC cluj must be thinking they just played a tribute act tonight or something.

Welbeck had a good game until he was shunted out wide, the general lethargic nature of our play not helping him at all.

Well then. On to City.

That was atrociously dull and shit and I want to erase it from my memory.

What a way to end our record of unbeaten run at OT in the CL for 3 years. A defeat at the hands of Cluj. Well done United!

 Beaten by fecking clunge at OT :wenger:

With all the groaning, I'm quite glad I didn't persevere with my shit stream.

I'm beginning to lose faith in the backroom staffs ability to fix our horrific injury and defensive problems.

Jones looked decent at right back. Him and Smalling getting playing time were the only positives from tonight. One other positive is Giggs and Scholes played a large portion of tonight as well, so may not be fit to play on Sunday either.

Ah well, here's hoping City don't turn up and feck us on Sunday.

We're beaten by a wonder strike, but we should have scored at least one of all those chances

We lost because Scholes gave the ball away and then dived in, missed the ball, for their player to then have time on the ball to hit admittedly a great shot.

Our midfield is nothing shy of shocking.

I really don't see the point in resting players so we can start against City with the likes of Fletcher and or Scholes. Who have unquestionably been our two worst players all season.

Watching our home group games is depressing. We need a group of death next season

People paid 50 fecking quid to see that tripe.

Did Rooney break into a sprint today?

Should have played more youngsters really, should have used the same squad as against galatasery

Cleverley always been a bit fragile and was before breaking into the United first team, there's nothing our medical team can about it.

A bit embarrassing really. We shouldn't be suffering defeats at Old Trafford without putting up a proper fight. That was an appalling performance.

Abit OTT.

Who cares about tonight. I don't in the slightest.

Moreso, good that squad players got game time and key players got rest.

Entering the winter swirl of games will require SAF to play the full squad.

I thought Buttner had a good game too. But once again, there's no leader on the pitch. Rooney was good in spells but what was telling for me was his reaction to that failed attempt to sidefoot the ball to Hernandez. He was laughing as he turned away. Don't do that against City Wayne.
