Manchester United vs. Chelsea - 26/11/2006 (16:00)

Me neither :nervous:

I think the outcome of this game will very much depend on whether the home support is at it our not. SHOUT YOUR HEARTS OUT!

I'll be (s)creaming from my living room in Sweden

feck Cheatski. I hope we kick their butts all over the pitch and they crawl back into mediocrity where they belong. A fake football club with deluded visions of becoming like us but will never get the fans we have with their manufactured 'heritage'

PS I hope that whimpering overrated feck terry starts harrassing the ref every 5 minutes like he did at Barca t

You posted Ronaldo as MR.. then Cashley Cole is the one to be tormented

True, although I am sure the Fergie will be switching wingers throughout the match.

Cashley or Boulharouz makes no difference.

Didn't you see what happened to England the other day when they tried 532?

Yea but with Nev and Ev u get wingers, kinda not with Gary but still he gets up the pitch. So his formation would be like a 3-5-2 most of the game, which wouldn't work and this is why: We need the extra man when they have 10 or 11 back. We can't be playing 7 on 10 every time we get close to their area, but I like the idea of having Giggs or someone on the bench to maybe get some life into us later on. Anyways, as much as I would love to see Drogba getting Vidiced AND Browned, I think we should play our normal starting XI. But like this:

Van Der Sar

Neville Ferdinand Vidic Evra

Carrick Scholes Ronaldo

Rooney

Saha Giggs

And honestly, Gary runs are quite useless most of the time, I wish he would just stay where he was when he fed Rooney vs Shef and not much farther up because one long rebound from Clitcini and they have a break the other way with Vidic all alone or some other horibleness. And for gds sake Nevy just chip is left or right when you are 1-1!!!!!!!!

Is it just me that cant wait until the game, god damn Im looking forward to it..I only have one wish and that is that i could join you guys and old trafford and watch the game and sing as loud as I could...

I reckon this'll be a bit of a bore draw unless Chelsea get an iffy penalty or deflected free kick, which they probably will, I expect they'll be satisfied with a point and will just tighten up defensively all match and nick a goal, like Celtic or something

I don't make scoreline predictions but i do predict a very physical game from Chelski. They will innevitably try to take advantage of our lack of depth and try to take our attacking players out of the game early on.

Getting nervous as fcuk now.

AND THE REDS GO MARCHING ON!!!!

I reckon if we had beaten Celtic mid-week we would get beat today. That defeat has brought the players back down to reality..
I've got a strong feeling us getting beat by celtic will be end up to be great motivation for today.

Come on United. 6 points clear.

From Sir Alex's programme notes for today:

... let me finish with an appeal to our fans. Our magnificent stadium holds more than 76,000 people and 73,000 will be United supporters, so let's hear it from you today.

The noise has to be non-stop, a barrage to remind our nearest challengers that Manchester United are back in business. If I see anyone with their mouths shut I'll be sending the ball boys round to kick their shins and wake them up. We must turn our numbers into an extra man.

He's right. Let's deafen the chavs! I'll be there and I don't expect to be able to speak tomorrow. Wherever you are, sing your hearts out for the lads!

Would have played Evra meself but let's hope Gabby manages to recapture his form. At his best he is world class.

Why isn't Evra playing. Heinze was well out of sorts against Celtic
