That's what I hate about the current law. He extended his arms to make them an obstacle for the shot. On this occasion, the ball was deflected onto them, but it also could have easily just hit them directly.

My only criticism, is that I hope and pray Rooney dials down his protesting. I can't count how many times he yelled 'feck' at or around the Ref.

Looking at the replay of the goal, I must say it´s good to see Berbatov be a force in the air, it´s one part of his game I´ve been disappointed with so far.
