Manchester United vs. Chelsea

Torres being one of the best strikers in the world, I don't think his goal drought will continue anymore. And besides he will have Drogba or Anelka by his side and Ramirez, Zhirkov assisting them from Wings.

We are doomed.

Whereas our strikers and defenders are a pile of disregarded cum tissues.

Exactly. Take a look at our attackers: two scousers; one fat, other a crock, a lazy Bulgarian and a midget Mexican....

Van der Sar

Rafael - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra

..............Carrick - anderson

Valencia ........Rooney..........Nani

hernandez/berbatov

Would be my team with either berba or chico up top and then bringing on the reinforcements of giggs, scholes and striker if need be later in game.

Em, wrong thread?
We have a youth forum.

I have a feeling Anderson will start along with Park and Carrick in the middle of the Park with Nani, Tony & Rooney upfront

I was hoping to see Scholes involved on Tuesday on the basis that I enjoy watching him on European nights.

I've changed my mind now, he's a must on that massive Wembley pitch against City.

-----VDS
Raf-Rio-Vida-Evra
Ando-Carrick-Park
Nani-Rooney-Valencia

Bench: Berbatov, Hernandez, Fletcher, Scholes, Smalling, O'Shea, PIG

Dont see us losing with this

Giggs was rested for a reason against Fulham. His experience will be crucial against Chelsea again.

I was actually thinking about that today, if there was any pitch that I would want to play Barcelona on, it would be Wembley

lets show the chavs we are the top team in this country and spank em

Well aside from the homoerotic undertones of your comments, I agree. The problem could be whether or not the fans and the players on the night get nervous. Especially if Chelsea score early.

2-2, with Rooney scoring the equalizer in added minutes

1/3 of us would have died before this goal.

Here's my guess...

VDS; O'Shea-Rio-Vidic-Evra; Carrick-Giggs; Valencia-Park-Nani; Rooney

Subs: PIG, Rafael, Smalling, Anderson, Scholes, Berbatov, Hernandez

1-1 draw with some nervy final minutes as Chelsea pile on looking for a late winner. Goals by Drogba and Nani.

Benayoun: Beat United and Champions League is ours

Yossi Benayoun last night backed Chelsea to salvage their season at Old Trafford tomorrow and predicted: “If we win there we WILL win the Champions League.”

Only two teams in the history of the competition have turned around a tie after losing the first leg at home.

But Israeli schemer Benayoun, back after a seven-month injury, believes Carlo Ancelotti’s Blues can join Ajax and Inter Milan in that short list of comeback kings.

Benayoun said: “Everyone knows – the manager, the players – that we are playing to save our season. It is likely we’ll finish in the Premier League’s top four and be in next season’s Champions League. That’s almost done.

“The thing left is to try to win a trophy and the only one we can win is the Champions League.

“If we win this game it will change everything.

“I’m sure if we beat United we’ll go to the end and win the trophy.”

Benayoun added: “They are a big team with a great manager but we have belief we can do it, despite losing at home.

“We have to give everything and try our best.”
Okay Yossi........Barca and Real Madrid are shit.

Yossi Benayoun barely exists as a footballer these days. You'd be forgiven for forgetting he plays for Chelsea.

I actually had forgotten until I saw him on MOTD yesterday.

Ando played 45 minutes on Thrusday, almost the whole game on Saturday. Doubt he would start again on Tuesday.

The referee is Olegario Benquerenca, friend of Jose Mourinho.

If we keep our normal play we'll demolish them... it's not longer the same Chelsea that we all dared...

All they have to do is score first and then it's possible that our pre-match confidence will go out of the window. The first 10-15 minutes are going to be very intriguing. I hope complacency is kept to a minimum.
