Manchester United vs. Chelsea

I have a feeling Hernandez will be given a start.

RvP benched.

Howard Webb the ref on sunday, hmm. We can expect Ivanovic yet again to make 10 fouls without being sent off then like he did in the "title match" in 2011 with Webb doing feck all.

Hernandez has a knack against Chelsea. Wouldn't surprise me if RVP was completely out of the picture this weekend.

Would really like to see Kagawa play on the back of last weekend.

de Gea
Rafael Ferdinand Evans Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Valencia Rooney Kagawa
Hernandez

Lindegaard; Smalling; Anderson, Young, Nani; Welbeck, van Persie

This should be good enough and there's plenty of fire power on the bench.

For the Reading game we can probably bring in Jones, Smalling, Vidic, Nani, and van Persie to start which makes the team just as strong while giving five players a break.

Weird that we have many players in March who actually rather are in need of a game instead of a rest. The likes of Rooney, Hernandez, Kagawa, Nani, Young, Anderson, Smalling have all had little playing time the last few weeks or in Nani's case not played enough since the injury/should be fresh.
Only players tired should be RvP, Carrick, Evra and maybe Rafael(but he got a break against both Reading and Norwich).

Edit: Norwich, not QPR.

Against QPR? He scored that wonder goal against them...

When is the myth of Webb favouring United going to die? He gives us feck all and lets our opponents get away with murder!

Anyway, Chelsea are going to get absolutely bummed on Sunday. SAF will have our players well up for it with the feeling of injustice in the camp.

The cnut Ryan Babel is to blame for all this when he posted a pic of Webb in a United shirt.

Anyone see Fergies comment on Benitez?

He said he wouldn't comment because he wouldn't kick a man while he's lying down.

A subtle kick.

Apparently there's a "large surfer flag" being passed across my block on Sunday, as Man Utd have just informed me via text...

Always difficult I know, but it would be great if we could transport the support we have on European nights to league games. Obviously, it's a more special occasion when it's an European night, but the fans were absolutely fantastic against Madrid. If everyone gave half the effort they did, then Old Trafford will still be bouncing.

Looking around at some Chelsea forums, they think that they're going to get smashed 3-1. 4-1 ect.

Little to no confidence on they're part.

Would like to see:

de Gea, Rafael, Rio, Evans, Evra, Nani, Carrick, Cleverley, Young, Kagawa, Rooney

RvP to come on if things aren't working out.

I can definitely see Valencia, Rooney and Hernandez starting, while Kagawa deserves a start and Young hasn't had much football of late either. Can't see how we'd fit them all in though.

I'd like to see Nani thrown back into the deep end. I think it would build his confidence back up if the manager picked him again straight away.

de Gea
Rafael Smalling Evans Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Nani Rooney Kagawa
Hernandez

I'm going to his game and hope there is a great atmosphere in OT again to help the team bounce back quickly and strongly.

No messing up.

the really frustrating thing about getting knocked out of the ECL. We had the squad to fight on all fronts this year, and SAF had rotated well enough so far to have kept his squad from being overworked.

Assuming we got to the semi final, 4 VERY BIG games less means its going to be hard to keep the entire squad fit and in form due to lack of opportunities.

Given the league is almost won, I'd prefer SAF played his very best team available in FA cup so we can win that this year too.

I'm not sure the 'bouncing back after a loss thing' will work out quite as nicely as everyone's expecting. These things rarely follow the script. I'm expecting a slightly scrappy, back-and-forth 2-1 win for us. I do think that the determination not to lose two big games back to back will carry us over the line however we're playing, though.

I agree.

In fact I can see it following the course of the two games we've already had against them this season...lots of goals and shite defending. I'd say 3-2 to us as an out and out guess with Chelsea having the lead at some point.

I don't think resting RvP is the best thing to do.

He isn't far off from a goal and he needs one. Benching him will just prolong his drought. He needs to play to continue his rhythm.

We are knackered, divided and dispirited. I expect to be on the end of a 3 or 4-0 drubbing.

The fight has gone from that team - shame, because we gave it a bloody good go against you with 9 men earlier in the season.

Just goes to show how ludicrous the decision to sack Di Matteo was.

What did Chelsea splash out on David Luiz? something like £20 million?

I've never rated him. Our Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are already better defenders than him.

Somewhere in there there is a great footballer, but working out how to bring it out is turning into an expensive and protracted riddle.

The likes of Barca keep being linked with him - I'd bite their hand off. Capable of brilliance but also complete stupidity.

I'd have Terry and Ivanovich in the middle on Sunday.

Like a caged animal, I think our time has come to burst out of captivity and into our natural habitat, we need to reaffirm are status of the wild animals of the premiership.

You are on a roll my son!

Whats the count now? We have drawn premier league opponents in the FA Cup in 40 out of the last 50 games?

think this will be a tough one.

I have a feeling we'll give 'em a bit of a spanking.

De Gea
Rafael Ferdinand Evans Evra
Valencia Carrick Cleverley Nani
Kagawa
Rooney

Or seeing as Chicha hasn't played in a while and he likes scoring against thr Renties..

De Gea

Nani Rooney Kagawa
Hernandez

I expect rooney and nani to start and shinji.

Hope we twat them but ill take any win!
