Manchester United vs. Chelsea

On MUTV yesterday I think SAF said Evra picked up a knock against Madrid, but he didn't elaborate on the severity..

the only trophy left for them....

expect a difficult game. even with rafa they still have the players to do some damage.

They still have the Europa League still despite the loss on Thursday.

I'd expect a difficult game either way as Rafa or Chelsea would hate to lose to us.

ITV have confirmed Mr Bitter is on the panel tomorrow

Great. He'll live of the publicity he got on Tuesday for a while.

Just realized that the clocks move forward and hour here in Canada so I'll have to wait until 12:30 for this game instead of 11:30 like usual
Anyways, hope the crowds up for it as well as the players and we get a nice big win.

I have a feeling we'll give 'em a bit of a spanking.

De Gea
Rafael Ferdinand Evans Evra
Valencia Carrick Cleverley Nani
Kagawa
Rooney

Or seeing as Chicha hasn't played in a while and he likes scoring against thr Renties..

De Gea
Rafael Ferdinand Evans Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Nani Rooney Kagawa
Hernandez

Yes, I'd love to see us field this XI tomorrow.

Oh oh oh it's Carrick....can't stop singing it.

3-0 in first half, they will come back with 2 goals and then we will get another. full time 4-2 imo.

DDG
Rafael Evans Vidic Evra
Valencia Carrick Anderson Kagawa
Rooney Hernandez

Can't remember being less confidant about a game vs you lot.

I'm sure you'll fly out of the blocks at us but in Rafa I ***.....feck it, I can't even type that with a straight face.

Calling Keane Mr. Bitter seems a bit off with me. I'll always remember him for the class games he won for us, no matter what kind of man he is now.

I don't know why you lot watch the punditry. All it does is wind me up how they try to spoonfeed opinions. I'd like footy a lot more if they all fecked off.

Really up for this today!

Same here. I rarely listen to the pre match bollocks. Irritated me when i used to do it couple of years back, stopped since.

Let's go for the small double now that we've been robbed the CL trophy. I want to see Carrick, Cleverley, Nani, Rooney Kagawa and RVP in the starting lineup today!

Are you implying that you don't think Keane is bitter at all?

No, I'm not. I'm implying that as one of the greatest and most passionate players this club was ever blessed with, he deserves a considerable amount of respect, and that only an ungrateful clown and/or a 14-year-old would refer to him as Mr. Bitter. And I'm not even gonna touch upon the incredible irony of it all.

I think him being bitter and actually keeping grudges contributed in making him the player he was. He wont change now, its too late.

He's still a club legend who has a different take on the incident for whatever reason. Some respect wont go amiss.

He's been an absolute twat for years now. He truly was a great player, but that doesn't give him license to do whatever he wants and still demand the respect from the fans.

He's not demanding anything from anyone. I doubt he cares much about what United fans think of him anyways. He's been a cnut because of his relationship with SAF but calling him Mr bitter etc is small time.

Everyone thinks "easy" games are tough and now against Chelsea.. it will be a walkover??

No matter what kind of form they are in, it will be tough no doubt.

Feel more confident in this game than I did against Norwich last week. If we play anywhere near our best we will win this comfortably.

He's clearly still hurting from how it ended between him and and the club, that's probably as much a reflection of his emotional investment in United as it is of his proud nature. To simplistically dismiss it as twatishness, now that is bitter.

I feel the same way.

I think there must have been some very hard feelings between him and Fergie. He remains the most important player that played for us in the Ferguson era. I will always think of him with the respect I had for him during those years.

His rants and ramblings now...I just ignore.
