Manchester United vs. Crystal Palace

Since you've edited.....

Nobody complained, just pointed it out and found it amusing.

I looked at going but didn't fancy paying £80 for two tickets to go and watch a reserve team I can see for free on a Thursday night at Moss Lane.

I'm watching on Sky Sports 1.

Somebody asked why a stand was empty , is it not common on a match like this to have it closed.

It doesn't help that I sort of imagine him as ESN. I think it's something to do with the way he carries himself, and that I've never heard him talk, so for some reason I just assume he actually can't, and is a dumb mute of some kind, like a sort of Lenny character, who communicates through shrugs and grunts, eats on his own and has no friends.

Plan M in, "Omg i'm more red than you because i don't comment on a half full OT, even when it's just an observation" shocker.

So good to see Rafael back.

As said earlier in this thread, I agree with you. I really don't get why we're playing him. All other players on the pitch have a chance of playing a league/CL game later in the season, but I don't see how Diouf would actually play a non-league cup game. I'd much rather have Macheda up front and some youngster on the wing.

I developed a theory during the Aldershot game that the idea of El Mame Biram Diouf is an ongoing Fergie joke.
I remember there being a "The One" thread in the newbies before Diouf arrived, counting down to his arrival, hailing him as some sort of savior, I think Fergie made that thread and he's intent on running with the joke.

This is woeful. I'm tempted to watch something else.

Maybe not, but Mockney said Diouf would never make it near any PL club. No way can that be said about Macheda.

tbh,i didn't completely read that mockney fellas post,i read some then just assumed the rest,i withdraw my statement your honour, and now i will amend my previous post to read macheda is better than diouf but still not good enough for united.

I don't think I'm "more of a red" than anyone. I haven't been to a game in friggin ages, which is why I never complain if Old Trafford is empty or "has a shite atmosphere" because I haven't made enough of an effort myself.

And it wasn't directed at you or R Nick so chill your boots :)

Has someone commented on the seemingly half empty stadium yet? If this was City, many on here would be calling them small time.

I didn't actually mean to say that. I meant he'll never get into a PL side of ours..As in a side to play in the PL. I phrased it badly. He did an alright job for Blackburn last season. He's just never going to get into our team proper is he?

As for Macheda, well, I think he's shown a lot more promise that Diouf in terms of all round play. And of course, has proven his usefulness a couple of times in crucial League games. And is younger.

Wasn't saying you aimed it at anyone in particular, but nobody complained about the stadium being empty so it seemed an odd comment.

You did mean it, you're a racist.

I cannot believe that Gibson (deemed surplus to requirements mere months ago) starts ahead of both Pogba and Morrison.

If they can't get a start against fecking Palace, then it doesn't bode well for further opportunities this season.

Is our defence just trying to piss Amos off?
