Manchester United vs. CSKA Moscow

CSKA's second goal for those who missed

A real facepalm moment. Can't remember the last time a player has waltzed across our 6 yard box.

It certainly gets you praying that Rio and Vidic are fit for the weekend.

Compare our games away to Besiktas and CSKA to the home matches against Wolfsburg and CSKA - we've yet to concede away yet we have fallen behind both times at home.

It's not really a criticism - I just think we play more open at home...[/QUOTE]

What would you rather we do at home? 4-5-1? I'm sure 75,000 fans pay to watch us play defensively

feck sake. I'm not complaining. It's just an observation that we look more open to losses at home than away. I think that's unusual for United in Europe.

Sorry, I'll just revert to redcafe type - Sack Fergie, Sell Nani, Blame Phelan.

So you think the first thing Nani will do after the game is read this thread - (after first having a mate translate it into Portuguese for him)??!!!

Don't be a tit. A massive proportion of the United fan base gets on Nani's back.

Yeah. He hasn't played bad but sometimes he gets the ball and runs with it, the defender catches up with him but because he can't cut in onto his left, he stops dead with the ball and more often than enough passes it back to our RB.

Was going to say the same but the inevitable backlash was not worth the effort, but since you beat me to it.. It seems his game is all about beating his man from a stand still. Their left back was beat twice in the opening oments and has since made adjustments. Valencia has made his, but his adjustment is to pass back.

I'm not a regular at OT; you're saying he gets the bird from our own fans?

If Van Der Sar would have caught the lesbian for her goal, he would be off, so I don't have an issue with VDS for their second, but their first? He looked like he was leaning away from the ball. Good finish though.
Why do we always look for a scape goat? Sometimes you just have to give the other guy kudos. Great shot from a tight angle. Sadly for us it went in.

hope fergie gets the hairdryer in his hand and batters the cnuts over the head with it individually to knock some fecking sense into them.....this russian side is shite and we are making them look like brazil 1970

Hmmm I think some people need to realise we cannot win 9: 0 every week and remember that less than 20 years ago, our Holy Grail was to win the league again for the first time in 26 years.

Here we bloody go...I new it wouldnt be to long before Richard keys started going on about how were missing Ronaldo again...so predictable....what were missing is 10 of our first choice eleven mr Keys....you hairy baboon featured Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime...

We haven't really been that bad today for a team missing a serious amount of important players.

Our wings are barely existent which is a worry seeing as we don't really have anyone better than Nani and Valencia at the club, midfield has been fine, strikers have been all right, defence has been simply awful.

That second goal is just the lack of experience of Evans, his man was moving away from goal, yet he decided to follow him. In watching it again, Fletcher could have been tighter, but oh well, it is a learning experience and it good that it is happening in a game that can't damage us too much.

I will get annoyed if we end up losing, we need to stand up and be counted in the 2nd half.

Maybe not wholesale booing but there are many who look to blame him when things aren't going well...which is ridiculous. I don't hear " feck off Rooney" when he's having an off day. But like most clubs we have a hate figure, this time round it's Nani...it's been O'Shea, Fletch, Ronaldo at various times..even Giggs going back a few years:rolleyes:
