Manchester United vs. CSKA Moscow

Made up with that after being 3-1 down. Some shocking defending by us which gave them their goals but we had enough chances there to get near double figures plus unlucky with Kiko hitting the woodwork plus the blatant penalty we should have had. We are the Kings of late comebacks.

Also......we are into the knockout stages of the CL :devil:

They should have postponed the start of the match, the crowd didn't arrive until the last twenty minutes. Must have been trouble on the M.
 
THATS why we love United...Feck me I must've gone through every emotion known to man in that game...and lets be fair it was one that didnt really matter in the grand scheme of things!

What an impact Obertan had - he makes the right decision nearly every time, and always seems to beat his man.

Same, buzzing too. Normally I don't buzz so much after a draw but the fact that we're through now is fantastic. Obertan's cameo was awesome and the ref was a disgrace. Blatant penalty when Fletch was fouled and yes I thought that handball at the end there was dodgy also.

Also note to defence: please sort yourselves out before Sunday. Thank you.
 
And to top it all off The Vermin will go out tomorrow and only have the F.A Cup left to play for ;)

CSKA pair banned provisionally

The chairman of the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body today confirmed the provisional suspension with immediate effect from all domestic and UEFA friendly or competitive fixtures of the two players, Aleksei Berezutski and Sergei Ignashevich, from PFC CSKA Moskva.

United game
The two defenders underwent a random doping test after CSKA Moskva's UEFA Champions League group stage match at Manchester United FC on 3 November. Both players' A samples revealed the presence of a prohibited substance under the category "S6. Stimulants" from the WADA Prohibited List 2009. The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body will meet to discuss fully the merits of the case on Thursday 17 December, at its next meeting.
