Manchester United Vs Derby County

Stupid game. Should've killed it off after an absolutely dominant first half. Let them creep back into the game, and suffered several worrisome injuries.

Anderson, Nani, Evans and Rafeal injuries spoiled it.

How do we keep 10 clean sheets in a row in the league, but concede 3 goals to this shower of shite?

Anyway, we´re going to Wembley

hull, blackburn and now derby, sort out the defence

Well, that was hard work at the end. Feel sorry for Chester - did nothing wrong but still conceded 2 goals when he was on the pitch.

Dont think Fletcher chould move back to RB any time soon though.

Anyway, the first half was a joy to watch. Second half.. not so much. Looked like the game in the first leg. But we are through, and I am looking into tickets already. A trophy is a trophy, and I expect us to make a real effort to win it.

Slight concern over injuries and fatigue, but hopefully we will be able to have a real shuffle. Just seen Anderson being stretchered off too. Fingers crossed for them all..

Vidic and Van Der Sar is how we have managed to keep ten consecutive clean sheets in a row.

Evans has been doing very well for us too. I'm glad that we're going to Wembley but I'll be fecking pissed off if we end up short of defenders in the league because of a carling cup tie. :nervous:

We were still dominating in the second half until Evans somehow slipped and twisted his leg, that gave Derby the belief to pour men forward and pressure us.

Hmm... maybe because this was our best defensive line for the match:

Rafael - Neville - Evans - O'Shea

And our worst was:

Fletcher - Chester - Evans (injured) - O'Shea

Exactly, the bottom line-up was the one we had ended up with, then they got their two goals. Had we still had the top line-up which worked very well then maybe it wouldn't have got so nervy in the last period of the match.
We've kept 10 clean sheets in the League, so I'm not going to complain about a few goals that a makeshift defence conceded.
