Manchester United vs. Everton

My team would be:

GK: van der Sar

RB: Brown
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LB: Evra

RM: Ronaldo
CM: Hargreaves
CM: Anderson
LM: Nani

CF: Rooney
CF: Tevez

not on sky?? would of thought so because of it being sunday oh well another missed game again:mad:

It's on Sad-anta, but not sure if it's on the ridiculously expensive and expolitive piece of crap of a pay-per-view one, or just the run of the mill beggar man's cable T.V piece of crap.

feckING cnut SETANTA AGAIN.

WHY IN THE cnut ARE THEY GETTING ALL THE cnut BIG GAMES A-cnut-GAIN ?!?!

0-1 Brown OG, 89.

With a place in the last 32 already assured, the Everton boss has left Mikel Arteta, Tim Cahill, Tim Howard, Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Joseph Yobo all at home for the Group A clash in Holland.

In addition to the absence of five key men the Blues are without injury victims Leon Osman, Phil Neville, Alan Stubbs and Nuno Valente for their first ever meeting with Alkmaar.

sounds like they'll put a strong team out against us

Wouldnt really expect them to put a weak team in fron of us?!

Shit!!! Yakubu, Arteta, and Cahill rested and they still won their EUFA Cup match vs. AZ. Our men better be prepared for a pumped up Everton side.
Don't look into that too much. AZ has been useless this season

It seems like the first team has barely played lately with the exception of the Liverpool match. They should be nice and fresh.

VDS

Brown-Ferdinand-Vidic-Evra

Ronaldo-Carrick-Anderson-Nani

Rooney-Tevez

Fergie won't mind rotating a little to give the likes of Carrick and Nani games. Remember we beat Everton 3-0 last season at OT with a weakened team.

Providing there is no hangover from the bad press the club has had this past week, we should get a favourable result. But they are a dangerous side.

Everton have won 10 of their last 12 games, drawing the other two. They are a prolific team, scoring 31 goals so far this season and reasonable defensively, conceding 16 goals. The have won 4 games on the road, losing 3 and drawing 2.

4-1-4-1

Howard: Has come on leaps and bounds at Everton. Has added consistency to his great reflexes and shot-stopping. 7.

Neville. P: Mr. Consistency. Scores vital goals for United. 6.
Yobo: Naturally gifted and physically good but is prone to the odd brain freeze. 7.
Lescott: Not a great left back but a very talented centre half. Reads the game well and has good pace. 7.
Valente: Experienced former Champions League winner who is no mug. Gives good balance to the team and isn't as exposed against pace as you would think. 6.

Carsley: The archetypal scrapper with a sprinkle of quality. He is the destroyer of the team who can shoot to deadly effect. 6.

Cahill: Has had injury problems but is back now and scoring for fun. The main player to get close to Yakubu. 8.
Arteta: One of the finest players outside the "Big 4". Great passer. 8.
Pienaar: light weight but he is tricky and quick. Has come good in the past month or two after a slow start. 6.
McFadden: has an OT goal to his name. Great quality on his left peg and can operate wide or through the middle. 7.

Yakubu: since his arrival in England he has scored goals. A lot. 7.

Tricky match this is.

Park will be involved in at least one of the squads, but I think Carrick and Nani are bound to play in at least one match from the start.

Sunderalnd away won't be such an easy match, a few changes might be made, but not as many as your suggested line up, i reckon.

I agree, you can't take anything for granted on the road

looks like pique has cemented himself as the back up centre back - can see him getting a game, maybe even starting tommorrow.

7 days without my team after the great win in Anfield.. It's looking good for us but Everton are a tough side to play against.. I have a feeling WayneR will be the MoTM by scoring a couple of goals..,

+++PARK JI-SUNG!!!!

Today is such a good day to watch football. First comes the United Everton game, then comes the Milan derby, and then Madrid Vs Barcelona game. Wow~!!!!

I have a rotten feeling about today's game. They are in really, really good form.

i had one last week but that turned out ok didnt it

is this Tim Howards 1stgane against United? he has proved himself as one of the best keepers in the league recently
