Manchester United vs Everton

the pitch is awful and our young players will struggle even more

my expectations are low, a win will be a huge bonus today imo

Rafael, Fabio, Wellbeck, Macheda, Gibson....thesze are players I've wanted to see more of all season (except for Macheda of course who beamed down only a couple of weeks ago).
Be careful what you wish for eh?

Honestly, looking at the team selection, I think Fergie has decided that the league and European cup are more important (and I agree) so this is a chance for those younger players to show their stuff -- if they do great, if not we still won the League Cup and are in 2 other competitions.

Don't know about the rest of you but I really really want another Premiership trophy this season -- anything to make Pool fans sicker than they already are!

Even better........

:lol::lol::lol:

Thanks for that, BR.

very imaginative. I totally support and salute fergie for this. He's right...he can't keep playing the same team on three fronts...Come on youngsters..

Spot on.

And if we lose I certainly won't be calling him on this.

Yep, the league is certainly top priority for me.

He was sloppy in possession and ineffective tracking back. Did himself no favours.

He was on for 15 min and got the ball clear a few times in the final minutes, it was clear SAF just brought him on to help defensively and take the ball down the line

Couple of articles in the press and some footage of SAF up off his seat bollocking the feck out of someone (who I presumed to be Nani)

Today's team selection would seem to confirm my presumption.

It was a pic and Nani happened to be in the image, Fergie was factually (Yes, factually) screaming at the ref for calling yet another soft foul on Carick late in the game.

I do worry about the height of Everton against our team. We better be strong and dont allow them to physically intimidate us. We should play our normal game and work harder than them

Is that possible?

Fair enough. I agree that today's team selection is a damning reflection on his current position with SAF. Welbeck and Macheda starting ahead of him, with Park ahead of him all season and recently the likes of Fletch and Rooney played out of position instead of him.

Can't wait for this!!!!!!!

If all these lads play to their potential, we should have enough to beat Everton.

I hope if we lose everyone does not go all mental and write off all these young prospects.

Come on United!

Christ, talk about risky. I fear one or two risks too many. Midfield looks a bit weak.

Team age average: 22.5

Wonder what the odds are for Macheda to get one?
