Manchester United vs. Everton

Gibson has been poor again, with a defensive Everton he needs to do more!!!

Also, our final ball has been really bad, i can see Carrick coming on to add a bit of quality in midfield..

if you think of the team we put today, we played brilliantly, we had the ball and the chances,

we just need to finish one or two plays

i'm confident

I think we should've put 1 or 2 away. Hopefully, we'll be more clinical second half. But yeah, the game is there to be won...

Gibson hasn't been anywhere near as bad as you're all making him out to be.

Nani has been worse, and Rooney hasn't been all the great with his decision-making either.

No changes, go out there and keep the tempo, the goal will come.

Gibson off please, the guy might aswell not be on the pitch. Andersons been mediocre and if we are to score then it'll probably be down to something through Rooney. Really frustrating half.

I thought Anderson has been good.

I said mediocre. He's played some cracking passes and followed up with some shocking ones. Typical Anderson display really, and off the ball he needs to work more.

He's played 3 'shocking' passes and 3 good-great ones that created goalscoring chances.

I guess every high risk pass he tries should be spot on, how mediocre indeed.

Seriously impressive display from Anderson. His passing has been incredible.

Anderson had been brilliant. People seem to forget that the sort of pass he is looking for is extremely difficult to spot and play and he does both effortlessly. Yes some don't come off but it only takes one.

Our wingers have been wasteful and Gibson's shooting has been awful.

He plays a high risk high reward game, United need a player like him.

There is a crazy bias against Anderson here.

How can you watch that first half and say he's not been good? And he isn't even the one missing the chances.

Nani has made some decisions that have made me angry. He's not looking up, or when he does, he just ignores the options. Anderson has been great so far, making some fantastic quick passes and meeting Hernandez's run. Didn't even realise Gibson was playing

Need a goal asap to calm everyone down.

Btw, waz all *** hype bout *** Rodwell boy?

Has not been in the game at all.

Not too impressed really, we are playing Everton at home and this is a have to win game for us, we should be 2 goals ahead already not 0-0

Yeah because Everton are a walkover and don't have any good defenders.

Christ.

we can't afford to drop points this is our home game, we must win....

Team looks like it hasn't played a lot together. How many bad passes has there been because someone thought there was going to be a run but there never was one.

I would like to see our wingers run at the defense once in a while. They get one no one and turn back most of the time.

Is it me or Rooney really looked like he was 'thanking' his team-mates he made a bad pass, about five minutes before half-time?

Maybe he still thinks he's team-mates are shite.

why did Hernandez block Nani goal-bound shot?? grrrrr...........

dominated them...just unlucky. hernandez is making them crazy. corners could be better. players could be on the same page a bit more. United will win this!

People want him to be some sort of Kaka/Sneijder incarnate. He isn't and it's just fecking ridiculous to pan the lad when he's having a good game and probably our best performer today.

The reaction from some people in here is a little hysterical

You get the same reaction from some whether it's 0-0 having played poorly or 0-0 having played well. They're just upset it is infact 0-0.

Oh my god, Everton penalty claim, seriously feck off Sky

Tbf it's the only thing worth talking about if they're gonna use highlights. Nothing else they could pull out from this game.

Of course no penalty. Never a free kick if it had been on the other side of the pitch so why would it be a pen. Evans treaded dangerously though.

Hmm...are some people really watching the game?

Anderson has been brilliant.

We have been really good. Just made some wrong choices. This will improve after Fergie will encourage calmness in the team talk.

If we play the same way in the 2nd half I have no doubts we'll score a couple.

Anderson's the only player that has bothered playing. He's been very good. We're lacking so much composure in the final ball. Giggs please.

Do you always have to do this? If people's reaction bothers you that much, then stay the feck off then. Every single game, I see you complaining about someone's reaction. Are you the only one who can react appropriately or what?
feck off with that.

And I bet when Kaka or Sneijder give the ball away a few times in between some great passing, they notice the good ones and forgive the bad ones.

Hardly

He's shanked as many as he's completed...although it is much improved and he's played 2 stunning balls. No complaints, but I don't think he's been 'seriously impressive'. As I say, alot better though.

He's put through a series of passes that even Scholes would be proud of. He's also driven us forward at every opportunity and made very few mistakes.

We've dominated the game in midfield, whilst Gibson has been poor.

Does that not say something about Anderson? He's been excellent, no doubt.
