Manchester United vs. Everton

I think Fergie will do one or both of this two: resting important players and testing tactics for the Madrid game. If resting players, he'll definitely rest Rio and RVP. If trying tactics, in which I think he'll go for the tried and tested 4-5-1 for Euro away games, he might wanna practice that midfield of Nani, Kagawa, Carrick, Cleverley, Valencia or Kagawa, Carrick, Rooney, Cleverley, Nani or anything equivalent.

It will be fascinating to find out the team news later and see what Fergie would do to juggle between today and Madrid on Wednesday

Its raining. Don't expect quality football with the pitch as it is, I could see a 0-0 today.

I don't think RVP will start, but he might.

Hernández has a good record against them so I'm expecting him and Rooney up top, Nani and Valencia on the wings and Anderson in the middle.

As long as Carrick is there along with this bunch of players and we have someone at the back to deal with Fellaini, that's a strong team.

I think we're in store for

---------------De Gea---------------
Rafael---Smalling---Evans---Evra
Nani---Anderson---Giggs---Young
---------------Welbeck
----------------Hernandez

:(

Put vidic up front and play the long ball game. The pitch is absolutely dreadful, not helped by the rain of course.

Any minute my 3G won't work, so I'm eagerly waiting the team news although you guys will probably be one up on the twitter feeds anyway.

No Rooney or RVP would be crazy, we have a key opp to go 12 points clear.

Prediction:

Hernandez - van Persie

Young - Scholes - Carrick - Valencia

Evra - Vidic - Evans - Smalling

DDG

I think we will want Smalling and Vidic playing to handle Fellaini and we will want Rafael fresh for Real I think we will start van Persie rather than Rooney and look to give them both 45 minutes or so.

I don't see Valencia starting against Real and I think Young will get a start.

I'm sure I read that Scholes has had a knee injury and that's why he hasn't featured lately.

That team should be adequate to win tonight.

It might be a bit of a struggle though, which kinda defeats the purpose of playing a weaker team which still contains key players like Rafael and Evra.

Yeah maybe Valencia at RB and Buttner at LB just to top it off

Hopefully Nick Powell is involved today. Atleast off the Bench.

Really hope this rotation malarky doesn't screw us over.

One of Rooney and RVP should start hopefully.

Expecting Smalling at RB, Buttner LB. Kagawa will play. No Rooney or Van Persie. Giggs on the left.

#MUFC; De Gea, Rafael, Evra, Vidic, Evans, Jones, Cleverley, Valencia, Giggs, Rooney, van Persie.

Great team other than no Carrick

Very happy with that. Start with our strongest team then think about 'resting' players for the Madrid game.

4-3-3 maybe?

With the exception of Carrick, that's a great side.

LOL @ everyone predicting the weak teams.

Worried about Jones and Cleverley in midfield though.

holy shit. We're fecked. What a chance we'll be missing up on to get the lead into double digits.

Panic stations!! SAF is losing it

Confirmed Everton XI: Howard, Jagielka, Baines, Neville, Distin, Gibson, Mirallas, Pienaar, Osman, Fellaini, Anichebe.

Pity that Fellaini and Gibson start. That's a very good Everton team

Jones and Cleverly together doesn't sit well with me. Other than that, good team.

I didn't expect Cleverley to play in this one. Both Giggs and Rooney can move into CM if Clev/Jones struggle to control the game at any point. I'm backing Jones to handle Fellaini (hope I dot have to eat my words!)
SAF wants the three points!

I like the team. They'll be some panic over Jones and Cleverley but the fact is we need to start experimenting with it because after Carrick our only other option is Jones. May as well get him playing there with Cleverley more often.

Strong bench for us : subs: Amos, Smalling, Anderson, Hernandez, Carrick, Nani, Welbeck
