Manchester United vs. Everton

Rio is not playing either.

Which probably means he'll be in against Madrid. Question is, will it be with Evans or Vidic?

Really surprised rvp and rooney are both starting, figured Hernandez was a cert, but suppose Rooney is always better with more games and RVP could use a goal. Centre mid will be interesting.

Kagawa was never going to be involved today because of his long journey for the International game.

I was soo wrong with my line up predictions... That's one hell of a team out there.

I remember SAF mentioning he came back a day later than everyone else from international duty, might explain it. Strong team that, can't wait!

Class lineup, only worry is Valencia, in the worst form of his United career, against Baines, the best LB of the season and in brilliant form. Can honestly see that being a long day for Valencia and us having to change things out on the right eventually. Come on Val!

Anyone know why Lindegaard doesn't even make squads?

Picked up an injury in training before the game against Stoke according to The Sun, so I imagine he is still out.

Good team with the likes of RvP and Rooney but im a little worried about the midfield.

Not too surprised with RvP starting because he only played the 45 minutes midweek and Rooney can keep playing. Surprised to see Rafael and Vidic both start.

Powell cant even get in ahead of Jones.. He'll do a Pogba now.
..

What's happened to Lindegaard? I like him and he's not even making the bench anymore. Is he ill/injured? Is that why Amos was recalled?

And look at the quality on our bench compared to City's yesterday

Would have rested Evra tbh.

Stronger team than expected.

Guess Cheech and Kagawa are out with the travel.

Jones and Cleverley.

PANNNIIIIICCCC!!!

Wouldn't go so far but would be surprised to see Clev's usual one touch passing if he ends up in a midfield two with Jones. Phil just ain't that kinda guy.

He picked up an injury in training. Amos was recalled before it happened.

I hope Valencia is up for this today, he's not only going to be needed going forward but also to watch the runs of Baines down their left. It's about time he put in a performance lets hope its today.

Midfield looks weak for me, without Carrick it will be messy..

I like that team to be honest. I think we need a fighter in against Fellaini and Jones will give that and without Carrick it gives Clev a chance to show that he can run the game himself, add that Giggs can move inside to offer help and yes, I like this.

Does anyone else think Jones will be man marking Fellaini the whole game? SAF might have just put him in for that.

I think we'll see Rooney dropping deep quite often today otherwise we'll be quite week in midfield.

Just look at our bench though  we have such a strong squad these days.

Not expecting this to be easy with that midfield.

Hopefully his goal for Equador midweek will be a bit of a confidence boost for the lad

That midfield absolutely scares the shit out of me. :nervous:

Jones is obviously in there to deal with Fellaini, I suspect it'll be 3 in midfield with either Giggs or Rooney dropping in there with a front 3 of Valencia, RVP and one other
