Lingard is unsurprising as he did quite well on Saturday; Mhki and Martial deserve the demotion after being rubbish.

I'd have preferred Pogba start and play fast out for 55 mins, as I'm not sure he'll offer much if we are likely chasing a goal later in the game against 9 Everton players behind the ball.

No Rooney even on the bench?!

Happy with the team, given the options we have.

Must be injured. Knew he wouldn't be playing when I saw the number of fullbacks seen at the Lowry including the return of Shaw. If Valencia was fit, Shaw wouldn't be in the 18.

We looked toothless vs WBA so the solution is obviously to drop two of our better attacking options and keep Fellaini and Lingard in the side. Also don't get why Pogba doesn't start, if he is fit enough for the bench he should be fit enough to play.

I do feel a little bit more confident having now seen both teams but there is a serious mental block at Everton regarding turning up at the big grounds.

Our centre backs are poor aswell. Jagielka is sadly finished and Williams isn't all he is made out to be.

Not much difference in the quality of our starting eleven compared to everton's, they will probably fancy their chances which may help us in some ways because if they sit back I can't see us winning.
