Or he was talking Barca/RM.can't think why he'd say "may the best team win".

Derp. He obviously meant the Real/Barca game.

Pssh. I mean, yeaaah obviously. Like.. Sooo just joking guyz.

:nervous:

Just hope we give Rio and Evra a rest. With Rio I'm more concerned about him picking up an injury tbh.

It's possible that tonight might be the last time Scholes starts a match at OT :nervous:

There's always Blackpool for the last league game

I hope we don't risk Rio, Giggs and Rooney today. They are too important to do so for Sunday

OFFICIAL MUFC TEAM (from ITV commentator Clive Tyldesley):

van der Sar

Rafael
Smalling
J Evans
O'Shea

Valencia
Gibson
Scholes
Anderson
Nani

Berbatov

SUBS: Kuszczak, Evra, Vidic, Giggs, Fletcher, Hernandez, Owen.

Berbatov up top alone always dampens my mood, I thought Owen was bound to get a run out with him tonight, truth is though after Real Madrid vs UEFA FC this competition has lost it's lustre.

Nice that Rooney, Hernandez, Rio & Giggs are rested but that is a gamble with inexperience at CB. Would have liked to see Carrick or Fletcher start in place of Ando/Gibson just to add a bit more defensive solidity to midfield.

An early goal for them :nervous:

Line-ups up so fast?

Glad we rested the important players for Sunday if that's indeed the team. The subs bench will be interesting

Don't fancy that back four at all against the likes of Raul.

With Berba on his own... could be a quiet night upfront.

hmmm Fergie said Fletcher would play so I'd have imagined he'd start rather than come on for the last 45. Fergie also said 'he'd keep it experienced at the back' so I don't imagine this will be the confirmed lineup...appologies if I'm mistaken!

Also I'd be suprised if both Nani and Valencia start.

That's the team according to Talksport, too.

These early teams have been proven wrong throughout the season. I'll wait for a proper confirmed one.

I'm not sure if I want to believe it either, but if it doesn't turn out to be true, please lynch Clive Tyldesley and not me - he's the lead commentator for tonight's game in England so there's no excuses for him getting it wrong.

Last time I felt like this after seeing a line-up it was before Arsenal in the FA Cup..and we all know what happened there  no need to worry
